Night all, and this will sound silly, but say a little prayer for me. Tomorrow morning I go back to work for the first time in seventeen years. My days of being a kept woman are over! It's only 30 hours a week, but I am really stepping out of my comfort zone -- I'm alternately excited and terrified. See you tomorrow.

Prayers heavenward and many mega blessings to you on re-entering the job market. I'll be thinking of you, chickee. <><

Way To Go!
You can count on the prayers.

I remember well the feeling of going back to work after staying home to raise my kids. Yep, it's scary. You wonder what you missed. You wonder about all the changes.
DON'T FRET! When they find out how intelligent and diligent you are, THEY'LL LOVE YOU.

Going back to work? I have a feeling you weren't exactly loafing these past seventeen years.;-)
Pace yourself and give yourself a non caloric reward every week.
And keep this in mind. Younger women in the work force may be nasty to you. It won't be personal or your fault. It's a universal problem of generational disconnect and a matter of competition.
If you run into this problem, feel free to discuss it at the Dose.
