When it comes to the old switcheroo, Frank Lautenberg and New Jersey's Democrats have nothing on Alan Hevesi and New York Dems. Yesterday, an Albany judge allowed Hevesi to sub for Bill Mulrow on the Working Families Party line in the race for state comptroller.

I guess I'm dim, but I can't follow this. Who's the Democrat? Who is the Working Party candidate? Do the Dems have someone on the ballot? Does the Working Party have someone on the ballot? Why did so-and-so drop out and give his defeated opponent a place in the election?

This is all garbled names for me.

The guy on the middle is on the left and a vote for the guy on the left or the middle counts for the middle and the guy on the right is our guy.

The Democrats have it easy. They just vote for the woman, or the black guy. They don't have to worry about anybody's ideas. A quick look at superficial characteristics tells a Dem how he should feel about a candidate.
