POOCH ALERT!
Dateline: IRAN
Just heard a snippet on Fox News where all dogs are being rounded up and the owners arrested. Seems as though the mooslums clerics have decided dogs are "unclean", and the dogs illicit "un-islamic behavior" in the owners.
Where's PETA on this one??

Maybe Iran is just hosting a state visit from North Korea???

LOL!

What illicit behavior? The mind boggles...
Another interesting headline would have been "Korea Bans Dogs," but that would have been a different story.

Were they Capitalist Running Dogs? They were always getting a bad reputation some years ago...

methinks Fido won't be taking this sitting still..

They're doing a last gasp Taliban thing. Remember before we went to Afghanistan things got horribly worse, same thing here. This is their last gasp, as the young people of Iran want USA intervention and overthrowing of the Imams.

In Western culture dogs are the symbol of loyalty. Many dogs are actual working dogs, others are beloved pets. What negative influence could they possibly have on Islam?

Maybe they saw how much freedom they have. That would definitely be "un-islamic behavior".

...and the dogs illicit "un-islamic behavior" in the owners. LOL...does Fifi entice them? If that's the case, the next step is outlawing their goats.

Yet another reason to just shake your head in disbelief of this religion. If were the people of Iran, I'd keep the dogs and get rid of the clerics.

Reminds me of an old punk song, "Today your dog, tomorrow the world"...

Seems as though the mooslums clerics have decided dogs are "unclean" Nonsense. If the clerics are concerned with cleanliness, they have a lot more to concern themselves with than just man's best friend.
IMO, the real reason for this decree is that the increasingly rebellious populace has recently taken to buying large, protective dogs, and the state police have probably been on the receiving end of their guarding duties.

This will hurt their chances to win the Iditerod this year.

What negative influence could they possibly have on Islam?Remember, a few sheiks snap up all the women for their wives with their polygamy. I'll let your imagination take care of the rest. :^)

As the owner of two Dalmatians, I can tell you that there'd be some clerics with shotgun holes where their heads used to be if they came to try and get mine.
A lot of [former]Iranian dog owners will be happy to join the revolution, for vengeance, once we have a large standing army controlling what used to be Iraq.
So now that the Islaminazis have taken after dogs, is there anyone or anything left in the world that they can count as friends? Apparently, they are intent on being the scourge of the entire earth: women, non-Islamic men, and other assorted hated-ones not being enough for their wrath.

Dog fighting is very popular in Halfgonistan.
