Thanks for your opinion. Moderation is still a virtue where I come from. There is no reason to stoop to the level of our opponants. I don't use the term 'rats' but I don't think much of it when someone else uses it. Anyway we are fellow citizens and it must be possible to fight this out without offendeing more moderate Democrats who have not yet seen the light. Honey will draw more flies than vinegar but we also do not want to attract flies.

I even have a few friends who are *gasp* Democrats but they are more conservative and reasonable than some who post here. We must remember that in the South some call themselves Democrat more as a matter of tradition than ideology. It would be a shame to alienate them because of a few loud mouth people who have never learned the meaning of civil discourse. Thanks for your input.
