This morning I saw an RNC sponsored ad blasting Jim Maloney (D-Connecticut) for supporting a Social Security privatization plan. It went on to laud Nancy Johnson (R-Connecticut)for opposingSocial Security privatization.
What core beliefs does the RNC have????

I know I live in the leftist Northeast, but must the RNC runs ads scaring seniors the way the Democrats do? I guess if it benefits a RINO opposed to a core conservative idea it does.

What core beliefs does the RNC have???? The same as the RATS. What ever will get them elected in that location at that time.

The other day on a Phoenix, AZ TV station I saw an ad for a congressional candidate named Rick Renzi. The content of the ad had just about everything you'd expect from a typical Democrat candidate - including the ever present attack on Social Security privatization - except at the end of the ad it said he was a Republican. Just what we need, more RINOs...

I hope you are wrong about Bush...I continue to think (perhaps naively) that political expediency in order to regain the Senate has been the motives of Carl Rove positioning Bush in the RINO-like positions he has taken on domestic affairs.
Eight years from now, I still believe we will, on this forum, be amazed at the right-ward tendencies of American politics fostered by this administration.

Sounds like the same advertising as in CT!
I expect to hear this stuff being bashed...just not by our side...no matter how small the print at the end of the commercial!

Everyone better be careful what they say on privitizing SS. When this market turns around, everything will be just the opposite. Of course for a politician that doesn't matter--they'll just say something else.
It's just shameful.

Really makes you want to run out to the polls on election day....doesn't it? (/sarcasm)

Regan did not give ground from his positions even if media portrayed them as divisive/extreme. Regan did not give ground from his positions even when the Republican ran from him.
