And I don't particularly look forward to the chaos.... But then again, if it turns out to be ME terrorists, we'll just have to deal with it.

Well if it is true, and we do deal with it, I think our country will be much better off because of it.

As it stands now, we're a pretty decadent place. We're not really required to recognize and respond to hard truths. The fact of the matter is that our defense would be largely in our own hands, which has a way of stripping away all of those feel-good PC pretenses.

"to the policeman" in a previous post, I just had a thought. That is certainly a strange turn of phrase - nothing that I would say or write normally.

So true. Not exactly the way the average American would refer to them. We usually call them cops.

Where did you get 'to the policeman'?

I ask because that was my understanding of what was written on the tarot card. But, then I kept seeing it phrased as 'Dear Policeman'. So I went looking and all I could find was 'Dear Policeman'.

I would write: "To the Police" or "To the Policemen" or "To the Chief" or :"To Chief Moose" or something like that. The use of "Policeman" is awkward. It's in the singular, not the plural, for starters.

If the perp is White, the Dems can blame the NRA, the Republicans, and by extention the republican canidates. If the shooter is a minority, then the Libs won't play it up as much. Worst case Scenerio: 19 year old White Male, formerly of Texas, Wyoming, Idaho ect. Taught to shoot at age 7 by his dad, who is a life time NRA member. His pass times are role playing, shooting prarie dogs, and watching FNC. Hitlery and Janet would have a field day.

In richmond we call them policemen. Maybe its a regional thing.

I couldn't help but notice the rough pattern on the map someone posted. It reminded me of a crescent with a star placed where we are accustomed to seeing it. Then there is that one shooting where it doesn't necessarily fit the rest of the pattern unless it is a star.

Is it remotely possible that the perp could be imitating the midwest pipebomber?

Whatever is going on, I don't have any particular theory one way or the other.

FOX is reporting a "downplay" on the woman that was questioned and the "man carrying long case".
