Gray Davis and the Democrats would seem to have had everything on their side. A posh venue with a massive supply of security personnel. Celebrity guests, including Hillary Clinton and Gray Davis himself. The press, prepared to fawn over their every move. And an large crew attending a precision organized, well-financed event. I don't think we could have afforded their sign-printing bill, much less the cost of renting the venue.

I apologise for the extremely long time it took for me to prepare this report, and for any inaccuracies. I wanted it to be as complete as possible, so I viewed my entire video and took frame grabs from it to add to my original still photographs. I hope you enjoy the results; there will probably be a revision tomorrow morning with more detail when I'm a bit more awake to fix things.

The video is coming in the next day or two - with any luck, sometime tomorrow night. The video has all been captured, but I have to classify each individual scene and then cut them together, which is perfhaps the most time-consuming aspect of moviemaking.

I know there's a distinct shortage of personal information in this first report; more will come when my brain un-fogs tomorrow.

I did do a lot of behind the scenes promotion for this FReep, but after it started, it took on a life of its own.

(This is a GOOD thing!)

As I posted on an earlier thread, yesterday was an OVERWHELMING success - far beyond what could have been expected from one crazy FReeper dressed up like the soon-to-be-EX-governor's "evil twin." :o)

The momentum of OUR "Dump DAVIS!" campaign has morphed into the even LARGER force of the "Simon SURGE" to reach CRITICAL MASS.

We need to BUILD ON that energy, and come BLASTING into the debate on Monday!
