Their reporters are hearing that the Democrats in the House are extremely unhappy about the deal that Gephardt struck on Iraq with Dubya and are calling for his resignation.
Or there may be a revolt on the vote next session providing he runs again

I've said it before, and I will say it again:
When you are willing to humble yourself, GOD will send ambushments and confusion against your enemies.
What you see is GOD in action - the dems/libs are turning and devouring each other.
We can also believe it's because we not only have a President who humbles himself and prays, there is now a growing prayer group in the U.S. And ... GOD is faithful!

"GW had the chance to rid us of those Klintoons & he chose not to"
What are you jawin' about??
You are giving the President tooooooo much power!!
To: tip of the sword
NO! But ... the new Republican Governor just signed a bill which forbids Daschle from running for President while also running for his current Senate seat (which is what Loserman did in CT).
If Daschle wants to run for President, he will have to give up his Senate seat. That means, the repub Gov can appoint a repub to take his place - and then call for a special election where hopefully the appointee will get elected.

"Clinton. The man is so corrupt that in time he will do him self in"
You are so right!! Your words have already been proven true! All kinds of garbage has been found out about this guy. The fact he went out into the streets and stopped people to try to explain how he tried to get Osama says it all for me. He exposed himself - GW didn't have to do a thing.

"Bush has rats walking all over him"
Oh really?? ... what cave have you been hiding in?? GW has these people on the run and so scared, they are eating each other in their lust for power.

Bump for disturbing but accurate comment.

"do you think you could get an indictment in DC?"
This is a key point! Just ask John Clarke and Patrick Knowlton. The judges are all Clinton appointees - you cannot get anything from them.

30 days before the election, and they are fighting among themselves, does it get any better then this? Killing each other would be much better.

"saved them"
Yes, he saved them by blackmailing them with their FBI files!

The complete self-destruction and dis-integration of the party of evil. Now wouldn't THAT be something to behold in our lifetimes!Great point. I want you to know that I thought about the following statement before making it. I mean it literally. It is not for the purpose of hyperbole.---
I would actually be happier at the sight of the total destruction of the Democrat Party than I was to see the fall of the Berlin wall and the collapse of communism in the Soviet Union.
To: 11B3
The total end of the DemonRats. All because of the tactical skill of a man that the Rats tried to say wasn't smart enough to run the countryDo we dare hope? Do we dare hope?

Well, there are radical socialists ensconced in many of our schools and universities, and other institutions. Tenure and the unions protect them. But if the Dems move too far over to the left, I don't think they will hold on to a lot of their present supporters at the polls. They would find it hard to get elected except in a few extremist strongholds.
At most, I think a third of the voters might go for a socialist party. Things could change, but I think that a move too far to the left could finish them off, or involve them in constant bickering between their moderate and radical supporters.

The clinton regime is the biggest threat to our nation in it's history Very true, but I'm disappointed that you just realized it now. The poison has already pervaded the entire system of this country, it had 8 years, and still continues to eat the guts of the USA. I have grave doubts, it can survive though W is trying very hard to save the patient.
To: tip of the sword
They are eating their own. The democrats must eat don't they? They can't eat W, so they eat Geppy.
To: CyberAnt
Yes, he saved them by blackmailing them with their FBI files! Clinton could have taught Machiavelli a few tricks!

Where do I send the Kleenex?

The Leftist Democrats want to impose a Leftist Minority Leader on the Party and saddle it with a McGovern image. Oooh every day the news just keeps getting better and better. Just when you think the Democrats couldn't get any lower, out comes the news they're going after Poco Loco's tanned hide and all because he wanted to spare the Rats the fate of the Republicans in being doomed to being a minority party for the next 40 years. Let them keep it up - they're doing great work demonstrating to Americans why they're out of touch with Peoria and should not be trusted with national power.
To: Miss Marple
The only good that will come from this is that the far left of the democrats will cook their own goose on this. I'm also concerned that this could benefit the Clintons. With all the political infighting, they could claim to be the saviors of the party who can once again stabilize it. While I think they are calling a lot of shots behind the scenes, this could enable Bill to re-emerge as a public leader and help propell Hill to the presidency. Hopefully, as has been suggested here, the Democratic party will die and be recast. But I won't hold my breathe.

Where do I send the Kleenex? PS: I enjoyed the brief exchange I had on this thread with Miss Marple, who's views I have come to respect here on FR. Which is more than I can say about your hyperbolic and quite utterly useless commentary (see post 111).

I think Gephardt should receive the
Profile in Courage Award
The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation created the Profile in Courage Award in 1989 to honor President Kennedy and recognize and celebrate the quality of political courage that he admired most. The Profile in Courage Award seeks to make Americans aware of the conscientious and courageous acts of their public servants, and to encourage elected officials to choose principles over partisanship to do what is right, rather than what is expedient.
