A teacher at Fort Myers Middle Academy pleaded no contest Friday to cruelty to animals and was sentenced to a $250 fine and 25 hours of community service.
One dog, a chow, had an infection so bad that animal services had to euthanize it after being unable to nurse it back to health.

Can she have animals if she calls the "livestock" instead of "pets?" There are some great receipes for canine in a Korean cookbook I got at the World Cup.

"LOL well said. Looks like she was eating all the dogs' food." I had an acquiance in my neighborhood who left her dog tied up in the hot sun without water or food all the time. I watered and fed the dog every day. Finally, I took the dog and told her if she didn't like it to come over here and get it and be sure to bring her gun with her because we would probably have a gun fight.
That was last year, haven't heard a peep from her since. I call that 'rural' justice.

Looks like this lard butt could go without food or water for a year.
This sickens me to see cruelty to innocent animals/pets.
This reminds of the people up at my parents summer home in northern WI. The neighbors across the street have a puppy black lab named Toby. This dog was chained up the boat with about three feet of chain for him to roam. He had no food and no water. Labs are dogs that need exercise and attention (as does any pet). Well this white trash family only came out one time the week we were there(that we know of) to feed and give this animal water. They never walked him either. I went over serval times in one week to give him fresh water and food. Some folks just aren't meant to care for pets. It's the animal that suffers from lack of care.

We did the same thing for a beautiful female German Shepard. To keep a dog chain bound with no food and water is troubling enough, but to pay $300 for a pure bred dog and do this is plain ignorant.
