President Bush reeled in more than $1 million for Mitt Romney's gubernatorial bid Friday, hoping to lift the Republican to victory in this solidly Democratic state. Al Gore was raising money in neighboring Worcester for the Democrat, Shannon O'Brien.
Bush praised Romney's performance as the former Salt Lake City Olympics chief earlier this year, saying he would bring fiscal discipline to the Massachusetts government.

"Bush hauls in ...
President Bush reeled in..
But this visit to Kennebunkport -- Bush's third this year -- will leave the president with little time for the usual regimen of naps ""
Remind me-did we ever see these terms applied to clinton and Gore, when they were selling the White House for illegal cash. Oh- and did we ever, ever see this sentence ," This visit will leave the president with little time for the usual regimen of perverted sexual practices" ??? I'm still waiting for the ID of those engaging in oral/anal contact in the Oval Office -( Mo Lewd testimony in the Starr Report).

The fund-raisers were Bush's 61st and 62nd of the year. Clinton generally went to a fund-raiser two or three times a week for his whole eight years in office. By this time in an election year he was probably up to number 120 or more. But news reporters weren't counting back then.

Bump for Romney im glad to see Bush has at least for now stopped acting like a liberal(there was a really horrorifying period in the early part of this year).
