Personally, I pray that the democrat-liberal-socialist-communist-demonic-leftists would get their act together, be touched by the Lord and be a force of light on earth rather than feeding their own power-trips by doing satan's work against the light. So, if watermelons won't change their stripes, and insist on continuing to wage war with God and His children, then I shed no tears when they fall, but rejoice that they won't be around to obstruct good people anymore.

The trash wants Bush dead because, ultimatley, he proclaims Christ. This is contrary to their own idolatry.

I prefer that those persuaded by evil and void of the knowledge or acceptance of God's love would be touched by the Holy Spirit and changed positively. If not, I prefer they be rendered harmless. If not, I prefer they be smited.

I haven't seen the show, I'll admit. Just read what was posted here. I'll take you at your word that he isn't as bad as Begala and CarVile (but then who is?), but still believe his remarks were over the bounds of human decency. I seem to remember a few conservative talk show hosts (radio, I think) who made similar comments about Clinton and were fired - just want equal justice. But if you enjoy the show that much - you won't want to hear that! I know some people just talk off the cuff and don't really mean what they say. An apology is definitely the least he can do.

There are a lot of issues. This took a few seconds of two phone calls. In the last two weeks we've donated to Fr, the GOP, called Zell Miller and urged him to jump, called the NJSC when they were "polling", written letters to local legislators about the Iraqi issue, etc., etc., etc. The most important issue right now is the NJSC's changing the rules within a little over a month of the election, IMO. This crap has got to stop. It just gets to the point where I get totally fed up with the sniping from liberals and taking it on the chin. It felt good to speak up in a forum where I could - MSNBC's phone number and here at FR. But, you're right - bigger issues are ahead.

Again, this is another example of how, when you don't crack down on the first malefactor, you just embolden others to push the envelope further.

Remember Craig Kilborn and the cross-hairs graphic? Now we have the DNC depicting the president pushing elderly invalids off of cliffs, Democrat leaders (like Bonior) saying that Bush is a liar and a murderer is believable, and jokes about assassinating the president.

If they don't stop it now, then when? If they don't punish someone now, then who will be next?

Hey pal, it's only because of some lawyers' deviation from common sense that your prerogative to exchange virtual child porn is said to be protected by the First Amendment, when you and I both know that George Mason and the rest of the Framers would have ridiculed the notion.

Further, your Daschle analogy falls on two counts:

First "choke to death on his own words" is clearly figurative, as no one has ever expired thus. More importantly, Daschle is not the President of the United States, and is not under the protection of the Secret Service and special legislation regarding the Exectutive Branch.
