I can think of nothing that would more infuriate Americans and result in the total destruction of several Middle Eastern countries.

No one needs to worry. Thanks to Clinton's gun free schools act, terrorists are not allowed to carry guns into schools.

I agree. Any terrorists out there stupid enough to deliberately target and destroy an American school, killing hundreds of children and teachers in the process, might as well start stocking their fallout shelter. The explosion of public rage that would follow televised pictures of a schoolyard littered with the torn bodies of American children would be unprecedented.

Just like everyone is enraged about the images of the attack on the World Trade Center right?
The liberals would still chant their give peace a chance mantra.

Nice bravado but they are more than "stupid" enough to do it. These terrorists are now our deadliest enemies and all steps must be taken to eliminate them. Tragic that democrats are not up to what we are really facing. They killed thousands and destroyed the Trade Centers. They will not hesitate to attack our children.

I've been expecting to see something like this since 9/11. Nothing would instill more terror in a population than to see a group of terrorists going after schools.
It sounds like we need nationwide CCW right now. That might make the group of terrorists think twice everyone who wanted to be was armed.

Notes from the Pentagon.
Schools threatened Top Stories
U.S. intelligence agencies received reports this week indicating Islamic terrorists have targeted American schools for attack, intelligence officials said.
The reports indicate that the targeting includes plans to attack all levels of educational institutions in the United States, ranging from elementary schools to colleges and universities, said officials familiar with the reports.
The information on schools as terrorist targets is among the scores of threat reports received by U.S. intelligence agencies every day. Some officials questioned the veracity of the report but said U.S. intelligence agencies have to weigh all the reports carefully.
This came from the column INSIDE THE RING by Bill Gertz and Rowan Scarborough. I am calling my reps, my grandchildren goes to school here. Maybe I will also take shooting lessons. I thought yesterday that the shooting seemed too cold and impersonal, that it was very strange, now we know why. Call your reps and tell them to sign HOmeland Security or else no one will get elected in November.

All the schools in the area were on lockdown yesterday and they are pretty much the same today.

I can think of nothing that would more infuriate Americans and result in the total destruction of several Middle Eastern countries. Me neither. Maybe a few of the public school ninnies would finally get their heads screwed on straight about what's going on in the world. What with all the "unity" plays and presentations over the last year they've done.

The explosion of public rage that would follow televised pictures of a schoolyard littered with the torn bodies of American children would be unprecedented. Far from "exploding", the American public would probably snivel a bit about how much bad karma America has accrued by not helping the arabs delete Israel from the map. And then they'd start looking for a synagogue to burn.

This was from the Washington Times? I tried to link because I would like to print the article and send it to school with my daughter. It gave me the Navy Times and there was nothing there about schools and terrorism. Thank you.
