Drawing lessons from last year's 11 September terrorist attacks against the United States, Mr. Annan said the global reaction offered hope. "The sight of people gathering in cities in every part of the world from every religion to mourn - and to express solidarity with the people of the United States - proved more eloquently than any words that terrorism is not an issue that divides humanity, but one that unites it."I guess the pictures of Arab/Muslims celebrating in the streets were a part of that solidarity. Thanks, but no thanks GET THE U.S. OUT OF THE UN.

It's the Clintonian communistical, tyrannical, narcissistical objective...of course. And somehow Bill will be king of it. If not the anti-Christ himself.

"Peopld say Bush is trying to show the U.N. what they are suppose to be; I say he's going to destroy it. Fine by me."Oh I would LOVE to see GW as the cause of the destruction of the UN!!

"I'm with those who have been predicting for a long time right here on FR that Bill Clinton is bucking for a job with the UN or the World Bank, i.e. one world government. It's the hidden agenda of the Clinton crowd. They don't come right out and say it, but this is their 'master plan'."I've been predicting it too. That is the master plan alright, and Clinton is planning to rule the world.

I say have some fun and triangulate. (It'll highlight their corruption!)
If Kofi and Clinton want a world government, then agree but insist on standards for membership. (Otherwise, it's regressive.)
- A bill of rights modeled after our own (including gun ownership)
- Explicit limits on government (better than our own)
- Representative democracy
- UN representation according to GDP
- Divided government
- Equality under the law
Just call me a globalist. ROTF!

I always held that opinion about his relationship with the Communist Chinese. What he never knew was that they would use him and eliminate him faster than a New York minute once they had everything they wanted.

>i?the Secretary-General pointed out that peace, tolerance, mutual respect, human rights, the rule of law and the global economy were all among the casualties of the terrorists' acts.
Is he referring to his own organization, the UN? The examples appear to represent the UN.
Others have claimed that the September 11 attacks are/will be used to push the Globalist agenda, and look at what is happening.
It looks like end-time Biblical prophecy is speeding right along.

Don't count out Bush. He is a Globalist, too. He goes along with the UN, he just appears to give little pieces of UN rebuttal to keep the American people at bay.
In my opinion, they're putting on a play. It's all show.

Kofi Anus wants to be Idi Amin.

He must be reading Revelation. Or the Left Behind series! I wondered if anyone would pick up on the Global Community thing...

Apillar, Bush supports the UN. Contained within the "War on Terror" legislation, or the "National Security Strategy" is a direct Kyoto look-alike. There is the promotion of the UN. What about Bush's stance on amnesty, "Free Trade", wide-open borders, "Smart Borders", calling Mexico, "The New Frontier", the backing down of the ICC, and his skull and bones past. Look at how our constitutional rights are being gutted post-September 11 via the Patriot Act, Homeland Security, a proposed TIPS, CFR.
I'm not convinced that they're not in this together. We'll see how it turns out, but as it appears, the UN is being given more legitimacy as time goes on, and Bush appears to be giving them much of it.
The one area that we neglect at our peril is education.
The UN is streets ahead of the opposition when we look into our classrooms.
They have legitimacy other Fascists could have only dreamed about.
