He could move to Florida. He'd fit right in with the little old ladies that have purple, pink or blue shaded hair.

"I tell them I'm practicing for Halloween." That's good. Better than hoping for a good election day. That ain't happening for him.

Jones is one of three candidates seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Max Baucus in November. The others are Republican state Sen. Mike Taylor and Green Party candidate Bob Kelleher.

Jones could always switch affiliation to the "Blue Party."

And nobody has a picture of this guy?

The pic from his website, obviously taken before his radioactive-silver transformation into the archfiend known as "The Chameleon"...

Cruising the NGs a few months ago, came across a link about this condition. Seems the claims about the "positives" of
collodial silver reference materials that are about 80 years old, and neglect to mention the "negatives" that cropped up
in the succeeding years.

Don't get me wrong, silver compounds do have their uses, like in newborns...

Quick search. Here's a link to a sufferer's story and picture:

http://together.net/~rjstan/rose1.html

I probably found this in the alt.fan.art-bell NG, trashing a guest and proponent of collodial silver, so FWIW.

Montana's Libertarian candidate for Senate has turned blue from drinking a silver solution that he believed would protect him from disease.
Stan Jones,a 63-year-old business consultant and part-time college instructor, said he started taking colloidal silver in 1999 for fear that Y2K disruptions might lead to a shortage of antibiotics.

A couple of months ago a thread was running about a libertarian candidate for office. I don't remember the particulars, but let's just say the guy was "out there" a little bit. I made a statement something to the effect that if libertarians wanted to be taken seriously, they were going to have to find candidates that gave them a better image. Of course, that got me into an argument with someone whose debating style consisted of calling me names and ignoring the topic.

But here we go again. I'd bet this fella makes a ton of sense on smaller government, lower taxes, and individual freedom (things that people care about). Unfortunately, he's a former Y2k wacko with blue skin that will (probably, I don't know) ramble on endlessly about the WoD.

Who would vote for this guy? If the party doesn't want to be dismissed a fringes, they really need to step up the recruiting process.

And you're 100% correct.
