Absolutely. I can and do. Fair game in every case. If anything, I hold Republicans to a higher standard than Democrats.

Fair enough. Here's how I approach matters of politicians' morality. If a politician publicly espouses family values, etc., then he or she better live what they preach; if they have an affair on the side while shouting about morality in Congress, they should leave politics or be forced out. However, if a politician does not publicly espouse these values and has an affair, that's his or her business. My concern is the hypocrisy.

That said, what Torricelli did was obviously an issue on ethics, if not criminality, and so his "personal" dealings were fair game in the campaign.
