AND NOW for another Holly Kinser episode.
The statuesque blonde lobbyist known for attracting the spotlight because of her friendship with Democrat Ed Rendell and her divorce from state House Democratic Leader Bill DeWeese had a little encounter of the Republican kind.
It was last week in a Harrisburg hotel, then in a nightclub. It was over the governor's race. And it wasn't pretty.
"It was about as confrontational a conversation as I've seen in this town in 10 years," said a witness to the nightclub scene.
There were two parts to the evening.
Kinser, a lobbyist for Wojdak & Associates, first went at Mike Fisher's TV guru, Pittsburgh-based John Brabender, and later, at Fisher's campaign manager, Kent Gates.
Brabender first.
In a hotel elevator and then at a dinner table in the Golden Sheaf in the Harrisburg Hilton, Kinser told Brabender she heard he was putting her in a negative TV ad about Rendell.
Brabender confirms the encounter last Wednesday night, says that Kinser asked about possible ads and that he told her, "I have no intention of airing anything relative to her in this campaign."
Holly Kinser represented the city of Philadelphia when Rendell was mayor. The two often were seen - and occasionally photographed - together socially. Kinser was married to DeWeese at the time. After they split, DeWeese blamed Rendell.
Earlier this year, DeWeese avidly supported Bob Casey Jr. for governor. Then he tried to prevent Kinser from lobbying in Harrisburg.
Insiders often buzz about possible TV ads attacking Rendell personally. The buzz was around during the primary against Casey. In some circles, it continues today. Kinser is said to be especially anxious about the prospect of such ads.
That could explain why later that night she got in the face of Gates.
At NOMA, a nightclub across the street from the Hilton, Kinser was introduced to Gates and, according to a witness, began the conversation with, "I hate your guts."
She then ran the same TV-ad number on Gates that she ran on Brabender, this time with much more gusto.
A witness said, "She towers over Kent to start with, and she's standing there jabbing a finger in his chest saying, 'Don't you f--- with me!'"
The scene was described by witnesses as boisterous, uncomfortable and antagonistic.
"Yeah, that's a fair characterization," Kinser told me yesterday.
She said it happened because "sometimes I'm a very candid person."
She denied using an obscenity: "I wouldn't say that...I didn't say that."
And she said her conversation with Brabender, whom she's known for years, was more cordial than with Gates.
As to Gates, she said, "I told him I didn't appreciate rumors I was hearing that he was spreading about me."
And how did she leave it?
"I didn't leave it, I just left."
Gates declined comment other than to say, "I'm sure I'm not her favorite person."
And word among GOP insiders now is that new Fisher ads offered for TV traffic might all be titled "Holly."

But here you come and, for reasons known only to you and your shrink, you bring up "fornication" and accuse me of some bizarre notion of,Seems to me that I'm staying right on target with the topic of this thread.
Boiled down to the nitty gritty, this IS what is implied about Holly Kinser, isn't it?

Don't make me separate you two!!!

Just returning to the topic of the thread.
The allegations appear substantiated for Kinser.
To the best of my knowledge, they've never been leveled at Coulter.
Many other things have been said about Coulter, but I don't believe that this is one of 'em.
At least not with a source of circumstantial evidence such as is presented in this article.

I don't know anything about Kinser other than what I've read here. As for Coulter, she is a pressitute (kudos to whoever coined that term) who definitely got ahead based on looks and the willingness to say whatever would get her airtime, no matter how hateful or false.

who definitely got ahead based on looks So she's easy on the eyes... So what?
If you have a credible source alleging actual hank-panky with political office holders, post the link.
Otherwise, your analogy is irrelevant.

I disagree. I think Ann is attractive, but would be more so if she gained about 20 pounds (have never said that about a woman before).
The thing about Ann that many conservatives like is that she is full of venom and destroys almost anyone that tries to debate her. Her reasoning is sound and her research is flawless. I am not aware of ANYTHING Ann has ever said that has proven false. And she is a Constitutional lawyer as well, and many of her articles are related to that, as opposed to her tv-appearances - where she can be found ranting about almost anything the libs do. BUT good for her. Ann is not just another talking-head, but a thinking one that just needs to add some pounds.
When I think of Ann I sometimes think of that quote from Heathers: "Anorexia is so '87!"

Do I have evidence of hanky panky (or fornication, as you may put it and which, I should add, bothers me not in the least) -- no. It's my gut feeling. The woman seems to have an inabilitly to speak the truth (sorry Pittsburgh guy, though I agree, she's not bad looking, albeit scrawny). Maybe she got ahead just on her willingness to be a hatemonger; lord knows it's worked for others.

I think she's [Ann Coulter] a hateful, loudmouth opportunist with a nonchalant concern about facts. Coulter could kick your a** with half her brain tied behind her back, girly-boy.
I know how much weight to give to your posts in the future. Less than zero. ;-)
To: Willie Green
To quote another poster (**grin**) "it's my gut feeling" that mg39 is a brainless ditz. I'm going on mg39's own standard of evidence for this hunch, mind you. ;-)

Using sex scandals .....
It seems to me that this is not a sex scandal. It is a political scandal that revolves around intramural sex and threats to those who are not alloewd in the honey pot. We know what they do to the opposition.
After intimidating, they maim.

I guess that "mg39" is just a flaming little liberal hypocrite, n'est-ce pas? ;-)

Ms. Rendell:
Lisa DePaulo is a hot babe, too. (Oh, we sexist Freeper males!) ;-)
To: an amused spectator
Hey fool, I said I didn't care if I got flamed. I never said I wouldn't fight back. So go screw yourself, you little putz. Coulter is a nut, and she makes conservatives look like rabid idiots.
If you want to call me liberal or sissy or anything else, knock yourself out (which you're probably used to experiencing, given that smarmy mouth of yours).
