Vanity: Forrester should hammer on *New Jersey* theme!

Please, please forgive this vanity, its my first. But I was thinking about this all morning: now that the 'Rats have shown their hand, Forrester should start hammering home about how he will be good for New Jersey. He has a real chance to distance himself from the 'Rat leadership in stating that its obvious they don't care about New Jersey, they only care about national power. I wish there was a way to get that message to his campaign - from here on out it should be New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey - 24/7. How New Jersey voters are being taken for granted, about how New Jersey people are assumed to be stupid, etc. I think it would be really beneficial to have him come out swining on the New Jersey line, and try to stay above the legal fray as much as possible - does anyone here at FR have any connections to that campaign?

I think the pubs should emphasize that this will make the primaries meaningless and will disenfranch all the Jersey Democrats who voted to put Torch on the ballot.

I gotta say one thing: Where's Joe Piscopo? He should run.

I think that's what he is doing. Good thoughts.

Too late....Way too late...This government is about power, pure unadulterated power. Clinton was the personification of the lust for power. The country and or state be damned, it is about power, the most power that money can buy.

The citizen legislator has long been gone, we turned our government over to professional politicians that maintain a deathgrip on office. Way too late....

New Jersey, New Jersey, New Jersey - 24/7.

Sounds like an excessive jail sentence to me.

To me, New Jersey is a 75 mile obstacle between the George Washington bridge and the Poconos.

I worry that Torch, in attempting to get off the ballot, is really trying to win the election.

By his tearful speach yesterday, he went from scoundrel to victim. His request to be taken off the ballot will be denied. And the Rat base will vote him into office like Carnahan before him.

You heard it here first.

That approach might work for Bill and Hillary, but I don't see it working for Torch. I think even most Dems are glad to see him go. They won't buy it.

A definite push to represent the real voters of New Jersey and not the political machine as in DNC.
