Yes, I know you are. This stinks to high heaven of Bubba and Terry in a back room. Let's wait and see what happens later today. If the Dems have to substitute a new candidate at this late date, I don't see how it's a good thing for them. Maybe God's hand is in this and you will get a new GOP senator.

What are the residence requirements for running for senator in New Jersey?
To: Mo1
Rush just mentioned that he would not be surprised if Bill Clinton fill in for Torch's place Please tell me Rush is being sarcastic -- Rush is on a delayed broadcast here.

I don't know ..

If they run Bill Clinton, I say Racicot and Bush appoint Forrester to something and we get Guiliani to run instead.
Two can play this game.
To: Mo1
OH SHEET .. Rush just mentioned that he would not be surprised if Bill Clinton fill in for Torch's place Won't happen, that would mean that Bill would be junior to Witch Hillary in Senate seniority.

It'll defintely be on CNN and PMSNBC. I'd guess that NYC network affiliates would also carry it. Outside of that, I doubt it'll be on live.
To: McLynnan
I hope so ..
I think he was pointing out that the Dems are so desparate they just might try anything

"I guess we can refer to this new breaking event as 'CHI-CHANG Surprise'...LOL!"LOLOL!
To: Mo1
Good. Let them be desperate. I hope they try to run Clinton. We can run ads about how he IGNORED intelligence reports for 8 years.
To: Mo1
NO!!!!!!! (guess I should turn on the local Rush affiliate, which "helpfully" delays him an hour).
To: mwl1
Thanks for the answer. The GOP had better hold their ground and not allow the rules to be changed after the fact.

If they run Bill Clinton, I say Racicot and Bush appoint Forrester to something and we get Guiliani to run instead.I love your diabolical mind! As you pointed out there MUST be some residency requirements, not that Mrs. Bubba let that get in her way. The DNC is probably buying a residence in the creep's name as I type.

ROFL.
To: Miss Marple
He says the Dems are all over the place trying everything they can and knocking themselves over in the process

I am certain that any New Jersey freepeer would be willing to swear they have been renting a room to Rudy since January. HA!
To: Mo1
Sigh. This constant high drama with the Dems is getting old.
To: Miss Marple
LOL! Rudy for Chuckie Cheese's seat in '04! BTW, how much did you love Rummy today?

"Two Democrats are reportedly telling the Associated Press that Torricelli has told New Jersey Democratic leaders and Senate collagues of his plans. They say the Democratic senator has not yet finalized his decision, and will hold a news conference later Monday afternoon."
