Well, we're referring to a hypothetical of Clinton being somehow named speaker of the house and ascending to the presidency after a common casualty takes the pres and vp. Is he eligible to succeed? That was my question.

As to the issue you address, state residency/citizenship is NOTHING. Clinton could be a resident/citizen of NJ by Friday afternoon, piece of cake.

Sounds like some at DU are all about how to get around the law rather than democracy...

All bubba needs to do is put money down on an apartment in NJ, have a little furniture delivered (just for show), get a phone number and cable tv, register to vote and apply for a driver's license and he would have more than needed for NJ residency.

Don't worry......I didn't believe them. Look back at what I said; I said "this is what the Democrats in New Jersey are SAYING."

Of course, people can SAY anything. Did you know I'm Elizabeth Taylor? Billie will vouch for me.

I just listened to O'Reilly and a reporter from NJ. Talk about being prescient! They both mentioned that much worse was about to be revealed about the Torch.

I also think he took your words to heart and used them in his long over-dramatic goodbye speech. He used them just about word for word.

If Torch's IQ is anything like that of his party compatriots McDermott-Bonoir-Thompson, he probably doesn't know the difference between a state supreme court and the U.S. Supreme Court

I saw her with my own eyes. Wishful thinking, or totally out of touch; you be the judge.

Love Malzberg though. We are indeed fortunate to be in the home market of WABC. Gotta can Lynn Samuels though.

She was canned about a month or so ago.
