Sure they could...

But I have every bit as much compassion for their misguided silliness, as I have for the misguided silliness of people calling themselves "conservatives" while craving war, supporting big-government, and cheering state encroachment on the rights of free men.

Both are wrong... and sadly so.

I support war with Iraq and resent the implication that that means I crave war. I have a fifteen year old son, I do not crave bloodshed. Although people like to dance around the issue, the Arab world declared war on us on September 11th. If we wish to retain our freedoms and prevent becoming an Islamic state we must defend ourselves in this war they have declared.
