The best way to deal with this when you hear one of his songs is to call up the radio station and kindly inform them that they are about to lose a listener and call up the advertiser that was nearest to the song and ask them why the radio station is playing their commercial next to an anti-American song. If country music listeners don't bother to do this then they should not be surprised when Steve Earle Clone II and Steve Earle Clone III get record contracts and become the mainstream.
