Ignorant assholes have as much a right to representation as anybody else. This is America.

Damn right we do! I am starting an N.A.A.I.A chapter in my town tomorrow.

On a serious note, I could care less if they're nazi, commie, klan, aryan, black panther, whatever. They can run and I can do everything within my rights to make sure they are not elected.

As a celebrated stand up philospher once stated "What a country!"

Byrd would argue he needs his Senate salary to pay for the linen.

A better question would be "How many supporters of PETA are in Congress?"

I have seen PETA people on Bill O'Reilly and they can't stop the meltdown once you say anything they don't agree with... so they seem to be un-electable!!

I don't think it is linen!!

When you watch Pro-Golfers play on a windy course, watch the way their pant legs fan... that is fine linen!!

These days, I think the clan is forced to use polyester, they can't have a large membership anymore!!

--I agree. The IA'a of New York State have elected Hillary Clinton whose overall background in public office makes Robert Byrd look pretty good--

I hope not the country, but what a state. And the Rs are as screwed up as the Ds.

As you noted, we need a stand up (in motion or motionless, doesn't matter) philospher.

Run Forrest, you're faster than Ryan, either.

To be sure, I think that people can change totally. I know I did (Farrakhan and pre-departure Malcolm X would have loved me 14 years ago).

Byrd concerns me, but not just because of his prior Klan membership. I'd be equally "troubled" if a former member of the Nation of Islam were a Senator.

Some people can grow out of their stupidity. Others are happy remaining in it.

What's funny to me is that many of these clowns suggested that a DUI conviction twenty years ago might disqualify someone from public office, but former membership in the KKK is OK. It IS OK for Byrd to be elected despite his KKK roots. But it is ALSO OK for us to bring up that fact every time his name comes up.

It has often been said that Byrd was a Chief Wizard. I don't know if that's true or not. But considering his political prominence, it's likely enough.

There are numerous statements out there from Dems and figures in the media that David Duke disqualified himself from public office for life because he once belong to the Klan.

But the rules for Dems and Republicans are different.

Off the bat, Senator Byrd was a grand dragon in the KKK. He also used the "N word" in an interview only a couple of years ago on TV. He meant it as a slur, but made it vague where it could also apply to white people. David Duke never actually left the klan, he was thrown out. He claims he left, they claim they tossed him. It appears that Duke was selling the roster lists to other groups who would solicit members with materials and stuff. (there's a reason they wear hoods). He got caught by the klan through, and this is funny, a jewish accountant who was helping him, who told some friends and they ratted on him. He then renounced the klan and ran for office, He is currently in a new organization he founded called NOFEAR (National Organization For European American Rights). Senator Byrd has been known to still drop racial slurs every now and then, but now he directs them, only at black conservatives (i.e. uncle tom, house ni##er). There have been rumors of Byrd having been witness to a lynching, he was at numerious cross burnings, and did take part in harassing numerious african american families with threats of violence and vandalism. He is also alleged to have been involved in worse inside the klan, to maintain disipline.

Note the difference between the way conservatives handle Klan members and the way liberals do.

And it really doesn't matter to lefties like Schakowsky if Thurmond and Helms were ever in the KKK or not. If you're going to point out white Sheet bobby's membership, well, then, in Liberal World, Thurmond and Helms SHOULD HAVE been in the Klan -- therefore, they were. Never mind actual facts. These are liberals we're dealing with.

The Scheming Marxist Architect of Obamacare, Robert Creamer, Helped Sell the Iran Deal

[picture of Robert Creamer]

Looks like the Marxist architect of Obamacare also had a major say in putting forth the Iran Deal. Robert Creamer was convicted in 2005 for tax violations and bank fraud. He served time and was under house arrest. While in prison, he crafted the core underpinnings of Obamacare. Creamer is a political consultant who is very close to Barack Obama and is married to Jan Schakowsky, the Marxist Congresswoman from Illinois.

While on the inside, he wrote, Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win. Obamacare was only the first major step in a radical Marxist battle plan. Next came Amnesty for illegal aliens, which is ongoing. Yeah, that’s right... Creamer was behind that too.

Once Creamer got out of the Big House, he worked for Obama’s presidential campaign, training organizers. Since then, he’s quietly worked behind the scenes. His latest abhorrent push is for the Iran deal. Creamer and Obama both lay the blame of the rise of the Iranian regime on the U.S. They believe that by overthrowing the Iranian government in 1953 and backing the Shah, we empowered the Iranian Mullahs and the rise of radical Islam there.

With the help and guidance of the radical Ploughshares Fund, Creamer advocated for the Iranian deal. Ploughshares Fund is a pro-Iranian group that donates millions to Progressive causes. They are against nuclear weapons and claim the Iranian farce will stop a nuclear arms race. Instead, it guarantees the opposite and war. ..... < snip >

Democrat Apologizes for 'Orthodox Jew' Slur at J Street Event inn ^ | 3/24/15 | Ari Yashar Posted on ‎3‎/‎24‎/‎2015‎ ‎4‎:‎20‎:‎46‎ ‎PM by Nachum Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) was forced to apologize on Tuesday, after attacking a political opponent for being an "Orthodox Jew" at a radical leftist J Street conference. At the conference, Schakowsky negatively painted Joel Pollak, her opponent in 2010 elections, by highlighting the fact that he is a religious Jew - a choice of words that the crowd responded to by booing Pollak. In her comments, she criticized Pollak for being a "Jewish, Orthodox, Tea Party Republican." The remarks can be seen in the following video, with the specific reference to Pollak starting at 52 seconds in. (Excerpt) Read more at israelnationalnews.com ...
