Sorry to rain on the lovefest, but these dogtags are available all over Vietnam. They are made locally and sold to tourists. The chance of these being actually from US soldiers is very small. I have been to Vietnam and these types of things are everywhere.

Hey, I don't think you're a killjoy, just someone with a good memory! There were two guys who did the same type of thing a year or so ago and this was the outcome.

Not to put this woman down in the story or anything, trying to do similar, but she wasn't the first one to do it. It's a wonderful idea. But, like you said, killjoy - I think the chances of finding real ones are very slim. JLO
