There no reasonable cause to justify the investigation that is now being conducted into the financial dealings of this mother.

Law enforcement ALWAYS keeps an eye on repeat criminals, because, after all, criminals commit crimes. And, this woman tried to return clothing for which, likely, she hadn't paid in the first place.

What "financial dealings"? That's a strange term for petty theft.

The reports I heard stated that her vehicles and every other aspect of her financial life were now open to investigation.  Are you going to tell me that every person that returns an item without a receipt gets this type of treatment?  Hell I tried to return a defective DVD without a receipt recently.  I'd misplaced it.  Does this mean I'm guilty of petty theft too?  Should I start looking over my shoulder?  LOL, you crack me up.

If you think an investigation into every aspect of a person's financial life should hinge on the statements of a retail clerk, you haven't dealt with some of the retail clerks I've run into.  And quite frankly I'd think you'd have a little better judgement there fella.
