I live among Amish and Mennonite communities and I've noticed a great deal of similarities in the way people talk about travelers and the way people here talk about the plain people. It is a free country, this means people are free to be different. People don't have to live in specific type houses, use specific types of transportation, follow the same religious tenets, etc. to have equal unalienable rights.
Our governments can follow people all over the world to see what they are doing and make "bad people" pay. I expect they can handle following a traveller. After all they know all about her cars and all the towns she's been chased from because she's a traveller.

It is a free country, this means people are free to be different. Are people free to scam their neighbors and defraud innocent elderly folks?
Do the Mennonites and Amish steal and commit criminal behavior?

The Amish live humble and honest lives. They work for a living. They are not scammers. I have been out to Lancaster PA and that's how it is.
Amish aren't driving late model double axel pick up trucks obtained via fraud
