Thanks for this thread! I just finished reading it, after dealing with the repairman who tells me I need a new water heater. Sigh!
It just figures that Gore would be teamed up with my faulty water heater. He is like Jonah.
Well, I will be up bright and early for the Blair speech. I just somehow think that there will be a few surprises. Ha!
To: Wait4Truth
I should tape this to replay on nights when I have trouble falling asleep.

As a West Michigander, I was shocked that Hannity got such a louod welcome and the majority of the applause! Detroit is liberal/union territory!
Leave it to the liberal correspondents to use the excuse of 'the stupid one' instead of realizing that it actually might be true! Give them the boot!

Matthews and Donahue will be orgasmic! Watch for Crossfire Begala or Carville to do the same. I refuse to watch Crossfire, Matthews or Donahue. President Bush and Tony Blair will win this fight - I have no doubt. I hope Republicans will crawl over glass to vote in November - if not, we will have RATS that will leave Saddam in office and the terrorists run wild. Say goodbye to our kids' futures.
To: Wait4Truth
It will be a lot more lopsided than 50-50.

6:30 EST is early but well worth it! CNN and MSNBC are in full anti-Bush mode! It's surreal to watch.
To: Wait4Truth
The liberal spin machine is in full effect. I hope that FOX- meaning Hannity and O'Reilly, blast the hell out of Gore tonight. You know the Dems are desperate if they have to have Gore preach an Iraqi policy. I'm willing to bet Daschle isn't very happy about this.

LOL! He is like a sleeping pill, isn't he?

Not defending Pat, but the reasons for his opposition are not the same as the Dummycrats, but it sure makes for strange alliances. No matter the reason, Pat is just wrong. Besides, can you imagine Pat and McKinky on the same side of any issue??
For me, Gorebot saying one second that we don't need to attack Iraq, then almost immediately whining that 41 betrayed him is merely a continuation of his election fence-sitting.

Following the New York World Trade Center bombing, law enforcement officials obtained evidence which led to the indictments and arrests of several suspected terrorists involved in the bombing. ABDUL RAHMAN YASIN, one of those indicted, fled the United States immediately after the bombing to avoid arrest. YASIN is now a fugitive from justice. YASIN was born in the United States, moved to Iraq during the 1960's, and returned to the U.S. in the fall of 1992. He possesses a U.S. passport. Because of the nature of the crimes for which he is charged, YASIN should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Indicted for: damage by means of fire or an explosive; damage by means of fire or an explosive to U.S. property; transport in interstate commerce an explosive; destruction of motor vehicles or motor vehicle facilities; conspiracy to commit offense or defraud the U.S.; aiding and abetting; penalty of death or life imprisonment when death results; assault of a federal officer in the line of duty; commission of a crime of violence through the use of a deadly weapon or device. A reward of up to $5 million is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of YASIN. Did Quayle have press conferences in 1994 about anything that Clinton was doing? Will ex Vice Presidents start shooting their mouths off in the future? Democrats are always taking this nation to new lows aren't they?
To: rintense
CNN talking about the RATS that are going to fight the war. The RATS are in total disarray right now. Betsy Hart says gore was talking to his audience like they were 2-year olds...talking about how gore has flipped his position. Judy wants to know if gore is a player here...The New Republic woman says gore voted AGAINST the 91 war...that is a lie. He voted for the war.
To: Wait4Truth
What have we done to deserve being cursed with Jeffords? Daschle better get all his little ducks in a row and provide more guidance than "vote your conscience" because he and his cohorts are hemorrhaging what political capital they have left. W's memory and arm are long.
To: egarvue
"I'm a fool, yes sir-ee
"I sold out back in ninety-three! I won't play safe for you and me 'Cause I'm a fool" And don't forget who Jiminy helps out.
To: McLynnan
Daschle can't get his RATS lined up. A bunch of them want to fight the President with everything they have. Daschle would like to get this off the table. Ain't gonna happen. The liberal media is thrilled with gore's speech but I can't imagine the public feeling the same. He was awful, IMHO.
To: woofie
I used to like Pat until vindictiveness and jealousy became his driving forces. I think Pat and Algore are bitter men. If people looked like on the outside the way feel inside, both their faces would be puckered beyond all recognition.
To: Wait4Truth
Judy wants to know if gore is a player here Algore is [as will be seen in the months ahead] the 2004 Dem nominee for Pres. He is already on the campaign trail.

Colmes was booed very loudly (I mean long and loud) when he gave his usual..."we don't need to be attacking Iraq speil." Yes! That was great. Colmes said, "Containment has worked fine for 11 years now," and he got a long and loud booing. The few times he got any applause at all, it was very weak.
