A search did not produce this update of the story. Hope this post isn't a duplicate. There seems to be more information given about the incident here. BTW, the words in the thread title saying "plead innocent" are theirs, not mine.

Toogood told reporters Sunday she hit her 4-year-old daughter, Martha, in the head and back and pulled her hair -- but did not punch her. Oh, no big deal then.

An excellent read that you
need to keep.
"Regarding non-Gypsy law, They are obeyed but they are not complied with. Gypsies never fight against constituted authority; they simply agree to do what they are told to do, pretend to accept the assumptions of the stronger party and then, in their time-honored way, they keep on doing what they have always done."

Dammit, when are you people going to get this straight. We don't know that mother beat her child. OK, there was the terrible video, and then the confessions from the mother, the father and the lawyer...but what do we really know? I'd like to get this cleared up as soon as possible, because it is taking time away from my investigation of whether Mike Tyson is really the ear biter everyone accuses him of being.

Just more evidence to back up my theory that women with hypenated or mulitple last names can not be trusted.

And I submit Hillary Rodham Clinton as my supreme example.

"I was thinking, I look like a monster," Toogood said, crying. No, you did not look like a monster. You ARE monster.

Rosen, her attorney, said he believed the hitting took place because Martha misbehaved in the store, taking toys out of packages and wandering awaySpend your life stealing and staying in no place long enough to set roots and then beat your child for emulating it. Brilliant thesis.

Rosen, her attorney, said he believed the hitting took place because Martha misbehaved in the store, taking toys out of packages and wandering away, prompting store employees to page Toogood twice. This prompts two thoughts:
(1) The little girl has already been taught how to shoplift -- "Taking toys out of packages and wandering away"... and
(2) the mom was probably trying to remove tags so she could claim a cash refund on merchandise without a receipt, and that's why she ignored the girl while in the store.

"I can't believe I did that to my little 4-year-old girl." BS!!!! This was not an act of a first-timer. There's a history of this stuff in her, I guarantee it.
