SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Angelo Buono Jr., whose gruesome killing of young Los Angeles women in the 1970s earned him the nickname "Hillside Strangler," died Saturday in his prison cell, corrections officials said.
Buono, 67, was found dead in his cell at Calipatria State Prison in Imperial County, said Bob Martinez, a spokesman for the state Department of Corrections.

Buh-BYE .. None too soon for the victim's families!

Compared to what he did to some of his victims, He had an easy way out. I'm sure he won't be missed to awfully much. Good Riddance.

They started killing these women because they couldn't find the prostitute who gave them incorrect business advice for their pimping establishment.
They meant to kill the prostitute, but they couldn't find her so they killed her black friend (also a prostitute). It was such fun for them that they kept on doing it.

Angelo Buono Jr., convicted in nine of the Hillside Strangler murders of 1977 and 1978, is led from court after a jury returned a recommendation that he spend the rest of his life in jail, in this Nov. 18, 1983 file photo in Los Angeles. Buono Jr. died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2002 in his prison cell, corrections officials said. The cause of death was not immediately known but Buono suffered from heart problems. (AP Photo/File) |

You think he went straight to Hell? Should I get out a radar gun to check to see if he set a new speed record?

You think he went straight to Hell? Should I get out a radar gun to check to see if he set a new speed record? Faster than the speed of light. Leave the radar gun in the holster, it can't measure that kind of speed.

However, one can guess that, if not repentent, he is roasting in hell and will forever. Only a few minutes in that place and he knew he screwed up. That's called justice.

So he and Bianchi dies natural deaths and Westerfield gets the juice? Go Figure .
The accounts of the victims and their sufferings are nothing short of barbaric and well deserved the guillotine or the firing squad, not LWOP. Justice? California Style :-|

The two were accused of kidnapping, raping, torturing and killing the women, ranging in age from 12 to 28, during a four-month period in 1977 and 1978. One down...

There were no signs of trauma, and Buono alone in his own cell when he died. Gee, I'm really sorry they didn't find him face wrapped in plastic wrap, with electrical lines from his nipples and other privates running to an outlet. (One of the many and varied ways they chose to commit their murders...)

What's the opposite of "Rest In Peace"?

He was found guilty during that period before the Supreme Court reversed their ban on the Death Penalty. LWOP was the worst he could get at the time. Aren't you happy to know your tax dollars were giving him free room and board for the past 20 years?

Hillside Strangler dies in prison, Sniff! Boo-Hoo - I'm all choked up.
To: Enterprise
He was the quiet one of the two. Bianchi thought he was a smart guy and pulled stupid tricks trying to get out of his jam. This guy kept his gob shut. And he was the dominant in the relationship, the scary guy.

Angelo Buono - welcome to hell!
