The Democrat Party is beyond corrupt, It's also evil.
And what is this evil that triumphs when good men do nothing? What are we really talking about here and is it worth fighting for? Is it worth turning our heads and allowing evil to continue on while we do nothing? (and I count voting for a third party candidate when knowing that he has absolutely no chance of defeating the Democrat, and worse, actually planning and hoping to knock out the Republican candidate who otherwise might have defeated the Democrat, as doing nothing).
Corruption is accepting campaign cash from the Chinese in exchange for military hardware. Corruption is accepting campaign cash as bribes from Indonesian power brokers, from Buddhist Monks, from corrupt corporate moguls. Corruption is defined by the myriad criminal acts and practices of the Clintons and the Gores and their corrupt Democrat minions.
Corruption is the land grabs, the power grabs, the gun grabs, the bribery, the shady deals, the high crimes and treason. Corruption is the theft of campaign dollars through forced labor union deductions. Corruption is the systematic indoctrination of several generations of our youth with socialist dogma via government school systems. Corruption is the removal of God from public life and substituting in the evil homosexual/feminist agenda and the destruction of moral society. Corruption is lying to the public about global warming and the selling of the Kyoto treaty. Corruption is giving up our national sovereignty to the United Nations. Corruption is the abuses of office, obstruction of justice, lying, perjury and subornation of perjury.
The Democrat Party is thoroughly corrupt. There is no question about that, but it's way beyond corrupt. It's also evil.
Waco was evil. The killing of innocent men, women, children and babies is evil. Torturing them for weeks on end, gassing them, and then burning them alive is pure evil. This was perpetrated by a corrupt and evil Democrat Administration and covered-up by corrupt and evil Democrat Congressmen and Senators, many of whom you are saying should be allowed to remain in office even today.
And as bad as that is, it pales in comparison to the Democrat government sanctioned and funded wholesale slaughter of the most innocent life of all, the murder of innocent human life in the womb. This is evil. Pure evil. And this evilness is openly perpetrated by a thoroughly corrupt and evil Democrat Party. The same corrupt and evil Democrat Congress and Judiciary whom you are now saying deserve to remain in office.
IMHO, allowing these Democrats to remain in power is aiding and abetting the corruption and treason, and is acting as an accessory before and after the fact to the murderers of innocent human life. Is doing nothing and allowing this evil to triumph evil itself?
I love my country. I love the Constitution. I love life. I love God. I know that the Democrats hate my country, hate the Constitution, hate God and hate human life. I see that the only Party capable of blocking and defeating the evil Democrats is the Republican Party. I see that many races are so close that as little as a one percent siphon of conservative votes to a third party could be the difference between success and failure. I see allowing a Democrat to remain in power when it could have been prevented as a triumph of evil.

Disagree: it's a one party system, masquerading as two parties. And this party has a monopoly on the money, the media affluence, etc.
If you're serious about restoring Constitutional rule of law to this country, you can't do so by being part of this monopoly. You've no choice but to compete against it, whether it's in the guise of Democrat or Republican.
At this very instant, voting all Republican is crucial.
Crucial for "Republican control", but I've no reason to believe that's any better than Democratic control. If the reason is to empower Bush, then I can see why more Democrats would be a GOOD thing: Bush is a statist enough as it is.
My vote is going for Erskine Bowles. Between he and Liddy Dole, he's the only one resident enough of North Carolina to represent her in the Senate. Dole is an outsider who was "anointed" by the GOP bigwigs. I owe them no special loyalty, because the GOP has earned as much of my trust as the Democrats have.
That doesn't mean I'm going to like voting for Bowles, but hey if it's strictly a two-party system I'm still gonna vote for the best qualified of the two.
We must re-take the Senate and we must strengthen the majority in the House and we must take as many State Houses as possible.
Who's "we"? And how can you trust that in place of one group of idiots you're not helping to usher in another?
We have a rare opportunity to break the backs of the Democrat Party and we must take advantage of it.
Without the Democrats the Republicans will become just as arrogant.
If your aim is to change other people's minds, I'd suggest you find a different way to espouse your views.
I see something posted like that and I think all I need to do is change Democrat to Republican and it would look like any number of screeds on DU.
The Dems' origins were both fundamentally evil---because one way or another they supported slavery---but also because they inherently ENSURED "BIG GOVERNMENT" by the patronage system, wherein government would expand with every election as people gave away jobs to get elected.
The Whigs were no better, as they had no "official" position on slavery. Only the Republicans---for all their flaws---stated unequivocally their opposition to slavery. They may have advocated new "big government" programs, but their MORAL stand was clear and unchanging, just as today, the GOP is the only party to take a clear pro-life stand.
wita,
Thanks for your kind words. Your complement takes on additional significance upon review of your home page. Thank you for your military service and continued patriotic service to our country.
It is human nature to prop up people as heroes. I witnessed this phenomenon first in kindergarten, then in high school and now in politics.
Havent we learned that it is not the man and it is not the political party that matters? What matters are the principles for which they stand. And, the principles for which they will fight!
The difference between these two orientations is the distinction between democracy and royalty. Its one reason we fought the Revolutionary War.
I fear that many of our fellow Americans would have no compunction about swearing allegiance to a political party and, if asked, would grant the same powers to a president as they would a king - as long as it was a president they liked.
Our forefathers saw the danger of this human inclination first-hand and did as much as they could to defend our Constitution from it.
Our Constitution is America's bible and guiding light. It was framed by geniuses - inspired by God. Adhere to it and America will prosper. Stray from it and we are doomed.
As to your comment that my post would be ignored, I dont know. A mere 485 comments were posted before your reply. ?;^)

So far with your two links, you've shown TWO minor EO's that were stopped.
So not only did most of clinton's EO's go into effect, Bush overfunded the Dept of Education instead of reducing it.
You've got to admit that the Bush administration has done an excellent job of not pandering to the Right or Conservative portions of the electorate. Those wings don't have any influnece on him at all, it seems.
It also seems that most voters are more concerned with trying to figure out who will win and then voting for that person instead of voting for the person that they believe would be best suited for the job. This process promotes 'electability' over ability. It also means that one is somehow duty bound to vote for a certain party (Dems say the same thing about Republicans that you said about them) part regardless of what the incumbent does in the previous term. If Republican incumbents, such as McCain, must be supported over any Democrat, then what is the point of elections?
When voters accept corruption (yes, the Republicans have their share) because of House or Senate seniority because of party loyalty, then we are doomed to perpetuate a rotten system.
I was truly surprised to see you promote the Republican party in such a lock-step fashion. But that's the beauty of free speech, isn't it?
This is what a policy of eyes-closed, blanket support for the Republican party, or ANY party, will get you.
jimmccleod signed up 2002-07-20.
Now that we have that out of the way, I've got something to say about this. I know "newbies" are supposed to be far less intelligent than those who have been signed up for at least a couple of years, but bear with me.
This sort of "idea" that persons who are registered as Democrats are evil is a dangerous and foolish concept. And it is dangerous and foolish for the conservative movement. Just think of the conservatives who have wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, etc, who are Democrats. Are they really supposed to believe that their family members or friends are actually evil?
Evil is a word you use for Satan, or Hitler, or Osama Bin Laden. Evil is used to describe a vicious serial killer not someone who decided to register to vote, and decided to register their party affiliation as Democrat instead of Republican. And evil is not used to describe your mother because she decided to vote for Clinton.
Unless Jim has a completely different meaning for the word evil, this just doesn't make sense. All this does is drive conservatives away. Conservatives who live in the real world, and realize that we are all Americans, even if we have different viewpoints politically, cannot, and will not believe this. Jim has just done a disservice to the word evil, by trivializing it's meaning. And ends up hurting the Conservative movement in the process.
Would we be better off if there were only Republicans and no Democrats? Of course not. We need opposing viewpoints. It keeps everyone honest. Remember, absolute power corrupts absolutely. No one, and that includes conservatives or Republicans, could govern without the opposition to keep them honest.
I realize that expressing such a strong opinion against the owner of the site is tantamount to committing "posting suicide" but I feel really strongly about it.
I'm sure someone has already pointed this out, since I haven't read the whole thread, but you're making it sound like he attacked the truth.
Other than his daddy being a politician, what great qualifications do you champion?
Your balance is a cop out.
