The video when seen on TV is much clearer, but it's obvious that the woman is beating the tar out of that little girl even when viewed online. If you don't know what all the "fuss" is about, I'd hate to see how you "discipline" your kids.

I've heard enough too. There is NO way the child is fine and well adjusted after her mother beat her unmercifully. The attorney's statement was ludicrous.

If this woman is a "Traveler", then they've got their own bunch of lawyers. The Travelers have a lot of money, they're involved in all sorts of cheating, stealing, lying, fraudulent, crooked and otherwise nefarious schemes. They all stick together and intermarry with one another.

Do you happen to know any RangerAirborne types? That story sure sounds familiar...
To: wimpycat
You mean they are all from Arkansas?

You can't tell me that this was the first time she beat that child....as far as losing her temper, she had the where-with-all to look and see if anybody was watching.....give me a break!

My kids listen.

You'll have to look up the related threads, but the "Travelers" are Gypsies living here in the U.S.
"Arkansas Traveler" Har, har, har! I get it.

Oh, yeah, I bet they listen if they're threatened with a beating that you think is no big "fuss".

Do you think she beat that child because the child didn't listen? Do you think not listening warrants a violent beating such as she got? Do you think the kid deserves a beating like that? Do you think any kid deserves a beating like that?
You're being deliberately provocative with your statements.

Makes you wonder what goes on behind closed doors, doesn't it? Did I hear correctly that she has two other children?

Your kids listen. That's nice. Perhaps you could let me know under which conditions it's appopriate to ball up your fist and strike your 4 year old daughter, nine times, in the face while she's strapped into a car seat.

You read my mind. "Nomads in search of jobs." Dare I say Gypsies? They have their own code of Omerta...
She didn't get to return the shoplifted items for a cash refund, became angry and took it out on the child. That's my take on this.
To: McLynnan
..yes, two little boys..5 and 6...three children ages 4, 5, 6...three years of being pregnant....I guess we can see where the defense is heading?
To: Ramius
Don'tcha just love how they're playing up the trailer trash angle? She better be guilty or she's gonna own herself a news network. If she's not guilty of beating her child, she's wanted in Ft. Worth for shoplifting.
This woman's a gypsy; she's no doubt got a rap sheet as long as your arm.
Her family has records also, so nobody's going to risk bringing a lawsuit from this family.
Read up on the Irish/Gypsies on Google. Inbreeding is not out of the question with these con artists.

Her lawyer, Rocket was claiming they she is a good mother, wife and sister, as the reel of the beating was playing. Sure hope impressionable minds weren't tuned in.

Let's not be too quick to judge. The jury can watch the video. It looked like it could have been self-defense.

Like I said, in a inch square screen on my PC monitor it's kinda hard to see if the mother slapped or punched the kid.
The child should be examined before anyone judges the mother guilty of abuse. If the kid was hit as hard as everyone seems to think, it would show up in a doctor's exam.

No child deserves a beating like that. Unfortunately this kind of thing has happened and still happens behind closed doors. I was an abused child, but I now realize that my abuser had a problem. Hopefully this little girl will be able to go on without any mental damage or scars. Each individual has their own way of coping and recuperating from these things. I thank God that I was strong willed and able to overcome all the damage.
