I've heard enough too. There is NO way the child is fine and well adjusted after her mother beat her unmercifully. The attorney's statement was ludicrous.

You can't tell me that this was the first time she beat that child....as far as losing her temper, she had the where-with-all to look and see if anybody was watching.....give me a break!

Has the attorney even seen the child, or is he relaying what he's been told about her condition?

Since these are gypsies and their communities are extremely tight knit and they're accomplished con artists, I hope that the authorities have the presence of mind to confirm that the child presented is indeed the child in question and not a lookalike.
