Haven't watched the Today show in so long that I cannot remember the last time I did watch it. I cannot stand either one of them so I figure why start off my morning in a foul mood!

Ashamed to admit I saw part of this show when I flipped channels during an O'Reilly commercial. It was a nauseating, smug lovefest among Phil, Matt and Katie. I sat with my mouth open until the bitter end. It's been so long since I've seen GMA I didn't realize how truly bad that show must be.
Miss Marple, I know you didn't watch, but thought you might like to read the pearls of wisdom that fell from Matt and Katie's mouths.

Oh, oops, my bad on post #3. I thought they were GMA, lol. What can I say, I haven't watched any of the network morning news shows in years.

Neither have I! I cannot stand any of them! Even Fox and Friends gets on my nerves from time to time so I have quit watching any of them and log on here for news overnight!

Matt, Katie, and Phil who?
To: Draakan
Some previous article from some source...anyway...the paraphrase statement that I remember is:
Liberals in the media are surrounded by liberals. So to them, "everybody" is normally liberal. Their response to anyone pointing out that they are biased is like pointing out to a fish that it is swimming in water...the fish replies, "What water?".

Finally somebody else who is irritated by the morning antics on Fox and Friends. This morning they went out on the street with Richard Simmons. If that isn't enough to upset a person's tummy at 6:00 AM I don't know what is.

Dear Katie and Matt,
If you're not biased, why don't you do this interview on the O'Reilly Factor?

I thought I was the one person -- glad to know I have company! I kept thinking I must be missing something but it has gotten worse instead of better IMO.
To: Draakan
So, they contend that they bring no bias whatsoever, but everyone viewing them is biased, and applies that bias to their reporting, so it only seems like they're biased because they're not but everyone else is.
Strecthes the bounds of credulity, doesn't it?

Sure, we all see things through our own prism. I'll grant them that. But, unless they are not human--something we can debate--they see things through their own prism as well. How dare they say they can give an unbiased interview even though they are both flamin' lefties, but we are incapable of hearding without bias. What an arrogant bunch of denial.
If they are too stupid to see the difference between left and right perspective then they are too stupid for their jobs--another point we can debate.

I agree...i always hear "know your enemy"...but there is a limit as to what a person can take early in the morning. In all honesty...if i get up and watch that garbage, it ruins my whole day...i end up glaring at people on the high way on my way to work. My wife knows to keep the TV off in the morning ;)

So true! It is a horrible way to start a day!

hearding it's like hearing only you're listening to a couple of cows.
