I understand you're from Ireland; however,
this guy sums up what has so many Americans worked into such a lather.
I'm thinking there're probably just as many Irish, Scots, Brits & other Europeans -- of all races -- who if they're not already at this level of frustration?
Will soon be.
We are about to renew our common connections.
Lots of no-nonsense talk & emotion here to sink one's teeth into.
...this ping then, is for you. ;^)

Thanks KS.
Just recieved it via email as a piece written by an anonymous writer.
Make sure you tell this person they've attained a degree of notoriety in that it's making the politically conservative email rounds.
...quite a person, this man.

FYI; *just* in case y'all have missed this.
Turns out the author has been ID'ed as one of Free Republic's own; one by the screen name of, "Bootyist Monk."
I'd suggest if/when we see this poster, we pause to extend our thanks for saying what so many of us are thinking & saying it so well.
...a real straight-shooter, this bootyist monk fella.

I know wrestling is fake, but so are movies and television, and that doesn't stop you from watching them. Please don't tell me you watch wrestling.

"Please don't tell me you watch wrestling."Moi??
Well...no.
But then again?
I didn't pen this, either.
~eh? ;^)
I will say this much on *that* subject.
It has never failed to amaze me just who does watch that stuff.
...still; wrestling -- per se -- is not the point here, right?

I've been preaching along these lines since the black riots in the 1960s when I was kid.

Wrestling may very well be fake. Now,
wraslin'... Well, that's a different story. Sometimes that ol' Ric Flair can sometimes jus' turn on you. Some say he's a sell-out, I say he's jus' got a plan, that ol' sneaky rascal...
Oh, don't get me started...

Watts wrong wit 'chu?
I know you could've just as well posted Hilliary's keister & all.
But given your extensive database of .JPEGS?
Couldn'tcha have posted a rear-end of an elephant, anyway?
We're *sensitive* 'bout that kinda thing 'round here, y'know.
Ancient Polish proverb: "An ass does not an Ass make."
...or something *like* that. {g}

"I've been preaching along these lines since the black riots in the 1960s when I was kid."You & I were "kids" right around the same time.
In a strange sort of way I feel blessed I was a "kid" when I was; in spite of, the radical changes that were afoot & swirled about.
Kids have the uncanny ability to tune-out a lot; I know, I did it & because of that ability?
Had the privlege of actually being a "kid."
...been a real bitch watching it all go to hell after that, though.

The Boy Scouts, SUVs, gender, profiling......have all been turned into weapons against Republicans quite effectively by the political Left. During the '90s, the GOP kept looking for a "smoking gun" to beat over Clinton's head. Result: Clinton's Justice Department attacked both "smoking" and "guns" very effectively and the assault is still going strong.

...still; wrestling -- per se -- is not the point here, right? Well, yeah, it does matter. I'm glad you don't watch it, but I thought the article was yours. I was ready to say to whoever wrote it that it expressed my feelings 100%, but wrestling is sooooo lame that that one comment alone discredited the author completely.
Wrestling sucks and so do the people who watch that crap.
