OK Broward, who do you want running the November election?
Frightening. What did we do to deserve this?
This mess keeps getting stranger. First, the County Commission thought it had a deal to help Oliphant, the embattled elections supervisor.

Then, blinded by the TV lights, Oliphant veered off script Wednesday and the deal was off. Next thing you know the PEBs (vote-tallying devices) hit the chad, with blame and vitriol flying and another election disaster looming.
Schizophenia? Paranoia? Or a little bit of both?
Oliphant's response to her office's miserable primary performance? Reject the county's face-saving offer while asking for more money to squander and more workers to mismanage.
This sounds like the basic game plan that Demmycrats use in general to run government.
"I feel sorry for her," said one county official. "She got herself elected but she doesn't know how to do the job. And she got rid of everybody who did."
Miriam Oliphant---The Captain Queeg of Broward politics.
You've got to admire her brazenness. She's already apparently blown her budget and isn't ashamed to ask for almost $4 million more. She wants 90 new employees, including an election preparation coordinator. Excuse me, but isn't that her job?
And yet the words "Miriam Oliphant" have yet to pass Algore's lips when assigning blame for the Broward election fiasco. Instead Algore is playing politics (again) by blaming it all on JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH!
But Oliphant needs all the help she can get, on whatever terms she can get it. In a county with nearly a million voters, after a primary that drew merely 22 percent, she has appeared hopelessly in over her head, wearing that Lucy-on-the-candy-factory-assembly-line look.
That's a good line! But don't worry, Algore will continue to blame JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH!
The most stunning oversight: Nobody knows how many people signed in at each voting precinct versus how many votes were recorded on the new touch-screen machines.
Enough of a discrepancy here to cost Janet Reno the election which was the Clintonista game plan all along.
For now, we just have to trust that the number of people who signed in matched the number of votes recorded in each precinct.
"My comfort level is good," Oliphant said the other day.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
But many are still squirming. An embarrassed county doesn't seem to know what to do with this Oliphant in the room.
But Algore knows what to do: Blame JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH! JEB BUSH!
Yep, good one.
