MALIBU BARBIE HOSPITALIZED FOR EATING DISORDER

A Mattel spokesman today confirmed that Malibu Barbie is suffering from a serious eating disorder and has checked into the Calista Flockhart Clinical Center For Troubled Anorexic Action Figures for treatment.

The National Enquirer has reported that Malibu Barbie was a chronic binger who would consume several three-pound bags of miniature Snickers bars in one sitting and then spend the rest of the day purging.

Malibu Barbie's fiance, Malibu Ken, is reported to have alerted the Mattel toy company to the teen doll's deteriorating condition. "There were always chocolate stains on her clothing, and she was always running to the washroom to put on more mascara," Ken told The Enquirer. "But I just wasn't buying it, because I knew her eyebrows have been perfect since the day she left the toy factory!"

Malibu Barbie's mother, Beverly Hills Barbie, blamed her daughter's disorder on the pressure from the toy company to always look slim and perky. "Those people from Mattel were always hassling her, saying: 'Maybe it's time go easy on the calories, Malibu Barb, you look like you're actually developing hips!' And they were always pushing her to work out more on the Mattel Action Barbie TreadMill Set".........
