WASHINGTON -- Sen. John Kerry, the Massachusetts Democrat who aspires to be the 44th president, accuses the 43rd of "hasty war talk." The adjective "hasty" suggests impetuousness. But although the president's policy acquired special urgency with the terrorist attacks, the thrust of the policy was a campaign theme of candidate Bush before the first primary of 2000.

The myoptic one scores again.

By the way, I've been offline for 3 weeks (processor fried) and under "my comments" there is a slew of "gotta see this" posts.

What goes here?

I remember during the '92 presidential campaign that Poppy Bush made a speech predicting that when he was reelected president (he wasn't) he'd be one of the first to visit a democratic Cuba. That regime change didn't happen in the past ten years.

I mention this, because I think his son might be making a similar mistake...and the democrats are doing their best to tie one hand behind Dubya's back.

This may or may not be of help, but every time your identifier cookie is lost, your history files are al reopened as if they all were/are brand new in the color blue.

Go back to the one(s) that you remember and work up the list from there.

Sometimes a pain, but then again, you may re-discover some of your "gems"...

America, says Kerry, must not go to war unless the president can say "we had no choice."

Old Send in the Ground Trops Kerry was singing a different tune when the war in question was against Serbia over Kosovo!!!! And NO ONE was thinking that Serbia was developing weaponsof mass destruction, or in any wayu was a threat to either America or her allies!

What was the REAL difference in Kerry's thinking between Serbia in 1999 and Iraq in 2001? Was it Serbophobic racism? Or was it a NWO desire to please the World Empire's muslim clients?

For what, exactly, would America have to apologize? For the "premature" defanging of one of the few tyrants of the ballistic missile age -- Hitler was the first -- to launch such missiles in war.

This is the comparison that finally brought Bush's message home to me. But Hitler was not only an aggressor. He virtually anhilated an entire generation of Germans through warfare. Saddam Hussein may sit in the ME rather than the heart of Europe, but I don't see that he is any less a merchant of chaos. The world doesn't need Aryan supremacy, nor Hussein as an exemplar of "Islamic power"
