Speaking from her Miami Lakes campaign headquarters, Reno conceded the nomination Tuesday, saying she told McBride ``he was going to be a great governor.''

And this comment has what to do with McBride?
Whatever his background may be, he does not photograph as physically fit, nor well conditioned to Florida's heat. We've seen more of his campaign spots than we've ever wanted to, and for the most part, he looks like a stroke candidate, poor man -- maybe he needs to job alongside WJC; he might look better by comparison.
AKA "Closet boy." AKA Alexis Penisless. AKA Fidelito. I couldn't stand that A-swipe nancy boy when I was a Miami-Dade resident.
The sad thing is, many in Dade think he is a Republican.
I guess she means that he was going to be a good governor until he loses the election.

"The Florida Supreme Court's ruling today moves us one step closer to what should have happened on Election Day. We have a constitutional obligation to every Florida voter, and to the nation, to count every vote cast in our state. I share the concern expressed by 37 constitutional scholars that the special session convened today by the Florida Legislature to appoint presidential electors is unlawful, unconstitutional and unprecedented. The only role for the Florida Legislature has been to serve as an insurance policy for the Bush Campaign in case the courts in fact required a full and accurate count of the votes. This blatantly partisan action by our legislature will create a constitutional crisis where none exists, cause further litigation and needlessly prolong this process. The map to the finish line is simple. Count the votes." |

You're right. Jeb's campaign made a big mistake by giving name recognition to McBride. Most Rats in South Florida had never heard of him. Reno on the ballot would have given a big boost to every Republican on the ticket in November. That's why the Rat estabishment wanted her to lose.
Thats 100% false.
Bush needed to go negative on McBribe because the idiot Reno wasn't, and the rats would probably steal the nomination from Reno(which they did).
McFatso goes into this election with higher negatives than he would have otherwise, especially among blacks.
Ther teachers unions and others poured millions inot his campaign and saturated the airwaves with his commercials.
They were on way more than Bushs ads.
If the above isn't exactly right in every detail,IMHO it is VERY close. There was definitely something going on in the background.
Then again,it really doesn't matter. I have yet to hear of a single case of voter fraud being prosecuted from the last election, and there were a couple of arrests. Bubba-2 and Janet Ashcroft flat shut down the voter fraud investigations involving Bubbette!
I saw the Goron's speech in parts (CSPAN). He was absolutely, incredibly, and MASSIVELY boring. Same old same old: I won, I was robbed, etc., etc. I also caught his statement to wit: "If AH was governor of Florida, AH woulda fixed that voting blah, blah, blah. Just like Clinton's BS about working full time to get bin Laden. Pure BS. What insufferable buffoons.
Maybe, but THAT particiluar US Marine is the guy who wrote the bill for Jim-mah Carter that gave amnesty to draft dodgers and deserters.
Good point. From this election, I understand that some votes were not counted because the "send" button wasn't pressed to transfer the votes to the collection center. If there isn' even a safegaurd for THIS, I expect you are right that the system is ripe for massive tampering.
Does anyone know what kind of security and failsafe systems there are in these systems? Is there an algorithm that automatically converts every fourth Republican vote to a vote for the dimo candidate?
