"THEY DID IT ALRIGHT"!

Sounds like Bubba. The media refused to believe that he lied every time he opened his yap trap.Funny, just yesterday I posted the same thought, that the 'toons have a lot in common with the moslems! The 'toons have perfected the art of al taqiyah.

Yes, you are correct. Furthermore they would be understanding that the profiling of middle-easterners is for their protection as well as everybody elses.

Your #515 is excellent!

No wonder it took seventeen hours if these dudes were stonewalling the whole time.

Shep is PO'd about people(including "news org") calling people in the South hicks. I know from personal experience that the South's image in the rest of the county is not correct. Im from California, but Ive been stationed in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. The South is not full of hicks. The proportion of idiots is probably the same as anywhere else. Well, except for Ohio and West Virginia.
Racists you ask? Yep, there are plenty and they are more vocal than anywhere else. But, only half of them are white. ;^)

About the payment of the toll by the second driver, the more these three stooges talk, the more they change their own story. My late husband was a Bridge and Tunnel Officer (fancy title for a toll collector) in NYC. Often the driver of one car would pay the toll for other cars if they were traveling together (like in a funeral procession), but ALWAYS, it was the first car that paid...not the last.

Probably!

i'm just catching up to the interviews but one thing jumped out at me from the larry king transcript. they claimed they were all excited about coming to miami and were only talking about finding day care for a relative and obtaining a third car.
the fact that they had already been on the road awhile (coming from chicago) and having stopped at other restaurants on the way down, leads me to believe that they were pretty much talked out by that time and maybe feeling road weary or punchy.
so here they are in georgia where they are stared at so one of them suggests they have a little fun....
next thing they are caught up in 17 hours of stumbling through questionning. after they are released, someone advises them (via cell) to meet a CAIR rep at the next rest stop. he gets them to turn around and follow him.
next thing ya know...everyone is lying 'cept them.

Better yet, why not have a thread on BREAKING NEWS MEALS.......LOL. I've said it before, I'm going to do one one day. We could all cook the same thing!
You're working on getting the world in perfect harmony.
Thanks for the ping. One great thing about all of this is the law enforcement got the right people from Georgia to Miami. However the story ends through the twists and turns they deserve a commendation for getting the right guys.
