I'm up early this morning to celebrate the fact that it was 34 years ago today that I reported on board for duty at Recruit Training Command in San Diego (CO. 659).
I'll always remember the warm welcome we recruits were given.
Maybe some would agree with me that every capable young American man should do a hitch and that it would be very beneficial to him throughout the rest of his life.
Of course this would be optional for the fairer sex and probably less beneficial...unfortunately.
