Gov. Davis was invited to discuss state taxes by Fox News with Colorado Gov. Bill Owens. Davis said no, he is too busy!

Governor Gray Davis never misses an opportunity to oil his way into the local and national media. He even exploits tragedies of lost or murdered children to get himself on TV.
However, today, Davis turned down a Fox News request to appear on national T.V. with Governor Bill Owens of Colorado.
Fox News Show Host, Bill O'Reilly kidded that Davis was "too busy thinking up ways to soak his people with taxes".
O'Reilly was doing a feature on states with the best and worst tax laws. Colorado has the best. California has the worst.
Gov. Owens was part of a citizen's coalition who wrote and passed Colorado's " Taxpayer Bill of Rights", a law that requires a vote from citizens to raise taxes. Colorado is the only state that will not raise taxes without a vote from it's citizens. The state income tax in Colorado is 5% , the sales tax is 3%. Owens said that the Colorado government does not grow unless it's economy grows. It has no homelessness.
By contrast, the California government taxes it's citizens to death and grows at twice the rate of the economy. California is flooded with homelessness.
The bank accounts of Davis, his administration and his band of multi-millionaire contributors are overflowing just like those of the CEOs of Enron, Worldcom and Tyco. Davis has accumulated a war chest of $59 million in contributions to keep the billions flowing into their bank accounts.
Homeowners have been loosing their savings, retirements and homes to Davis and his CAI gangs. He authored the infamous Davis-Stirling Act - the law that allows CAI lawyers to foreclose on homes without a judicial determination for as little as $5. Many have been made homeless by this law. It was written by the same CAI lawyers who do the foreclosing. There are now two more homeowner bills on his desk for his signature, AB 2289 and AB 555 crafted by his contributors and his administration. They spell devastation again for homeowners.
Now we know why Davis refused to appear on Reilly's show. It would have been a very taxing experience!! How right O'Reilly was!!!

Davis doen't talk to anybody for less than $100k. You'd think FOX would know better. For $200K Davis would have shined Hitler's boots!

Let's hope that in a couple of months, he won't be quite so busy. By then no one will care.

If I became Govenor of California( well assuming I was some kinda local king) my 1st act would be to put Davis in the stocks sitting on a bicycle generator with a guy whipping him to peddle that bicycle. Mobs could of course throw tomatoes at him.

Im a poor college kid I'd probably shine Hitler's boots for 200 grand as long as I didn't have to help him kill Jews or anything. 200 grand sounds pretty sweet right now.

No because killing( of jews and other innocents killed by the 3rd Reich) is an irrevocable evil act I cannot atone for even with 300 grand. No if we are talking about another group killed by the 3rd Reich the commies well I don't think there is anything wrong with killing communist. The commisar order and the roundup of the communist, social democrats and trade unionist those were the good things about the Reich.

Davis turned down Fox News...afraid that "fair and balanced" coverage would put him at too much of a disadvantage.....
