NAPLES, Florida (CNN) --The Georgia woman who prompted Friday's terror scare was "flat-out lying" when she told authorities she overheard three Muslim men at a restaurant laughing about September 11 and making suspicious comments, one of the men said late Friday.

Ah. Thanks for the confirmation. Now we have to wonder about the toll booth.

Wasn't there a second car that picked up the tab for the first? I heard something like that, but I can't remember where.

Remeber a few months ago where the person opened a card on the airplane with paper confetti and the plan was immediately grounded because several hysterical passengers thought it was white powder?

That was on a United flight, and I flew one of their flights the next day. The captain mentioned it after we got off the ground and stated that what the media reported was inaccurate. He said the guy actually held the card up to one of the air fans above the seats.

Can't really trust the media to get it right all the time.

"I just held my nose and watched the news update in CNN. Not a word about her admitting to lying, even though they showed a clip of the three men and their comments."

Yeah, and you know that given their terrorist sympathies that CNN would be all over that woman had she admitted to lying. Sounds like Freddy might just like tossing live grenades into a crowd to see what happens.

"Wasn't there a second car that picked up the tab for the first?"

Fox reported it. It has also been mentioned on these threads a number of times.

Let's just say you can't Trust CNN.

After all they are still trying to portray a nurse and fellow healthcare professional as a beehive wearing, gum chewing, truckstop waitress in order to give credence to the lies of these three doctor wannabees.

Many thanks for your historical family input. You are not alone. Many , in America at that time, with German and / or Hungarian last names, made a concerted effort ( if they hadn't already done so...and many of them had !) to become as American as possible. It helped them and their descents greatly. Unfortunately, schools don't cover any of this . If one's family wasn't involved, in some way, or didn't talk about it to later generations, then this history is lost / unknown.

Hyphanated Americans are NOT real Americans; no matter what they claim.

http://content.clearchannel.com/newsaudio/Eunice-Stone-Raw.wma

For anyone that is interested this is the first interview given by Eunise Stone to a Tampa Radio station after they got her name and telephone number from The Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

So far she hasn't changed what she said one bit, and she says she was LISTENING TO THEM not staring at them or watching them, and that she was scared by what she heard.

By the way, one of the three wannabees said he was pulled over by about "700 police cars", exaggeration or out right lie?

The thing that really bothers me most about this incident is the way that lies are being produced and propergated to cover the fact that these three wannabe doctors made a credible threat.

CNN still refuses to Identify Eunise Stone as anything but a waitress denying her any credibility.

The sister and the mother of one of the three claimed to have watched the two cars being pulled over and the three wannabees pulled from the car and thrown to the ground and handcuffed, when it was pitch dark and there were no TV crews on the scene or in the air when it happened.

Also the use of "officials" that were not even there to debunk that these three admitted to pulling this prank.

As well as the cry of racism being used to deflect that they did say what they said.

Or that anyone that reports anything is guilty of wanting their fifteen minutes of fame, and in doing so is automatically guilty of lying to get that fame.

and let us not forget the assistance of little freddy who has hit each and every thread on this subject with the unsubstantciated claim that Eunise Stone is lying.

It all adds up to a concerned attack on the idea that we should be vigilant and should report what we see if we see or hear anything threatening or unusual.

Instead of advising us to be alert we are being told more or less to go back to sleep and not to get involved, not to be wary, and not to report what we see, and that if we do it is because we are in reality racist for doing so.

Why does the media want that to happen?

My question: I-75 is not the typical route to Miami. How would Eunice know that's where they were going, unless they said so?

She also said that they spoke of attending a party in CHICAGO (apparently to celebrate 9/11) before this trip.

How would Eunice know where they were coming from?

That's interesting considering the perps claim that they didn't say anything at all about 9/11 and that Mrs. Stone is telling an outright lie. Why claim that their comments are protected speech if they claim that they didn't even make the comments?

The CNN interviewer said something like, "OK, well, let's just say it did happen, somewhere, and these things were said, then what would you say?" And, then the lawyer said something like: "Oh, just like flag-burnning, this is all protected free speech."

The guy was real cocky, overacting, which leads me to believe that he did say it, as an arrogant joke.

Keep your money ; just come onto FR and say that you were too " open minded ". :-)

I heard on Fox News this morning that Eunice has agreed to take a lie detector test to back up her story but the three men each declined.

Based on that, I now have to go with Eunice. So, here goes:

I was too open minded.

Please don't make me write it 500 times on the blackboard.

Darn, I was looking forward to that Danish, too.
