GOP: MIAMI-DADE IN COUNTYWIDE RECOUNT - BROWARD SHOULD BE NEXT
TALLAHASSEE - Miami-Dade elections officials began a countywide recount at 1:00 p.m. today, due to yesterday's review of just four precincts, which revealed over 1,800 votes that had not been counted.
Given the massive and well-documented problems in Broward County, which utilized the same new electronic voting machines as in Miami-Dade, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections should IMMEDIATELY begin a recount of all their precincts, machines and tabulators, to make certain every legal vote is counted. Based on a troubling recent report that three voting machines were found THIS MORNING still at a polling place in Fort Lauderdale, the only prudent action is a full recount in Broward.
The Republican Party of Florida demands an immediate recount in Broward - forming an election oversight board is not enough - only by counting every legal vote in this election can amends begin to be made to the betrayed voters in Broward County.

Tuesday was primary day for both Dems and Republicans. The article seems to indicate that there were a few Republicans who votes didn't tabulate either. It sounds to me like ALL the results are screwed up; not just the Democratic gubernatorial primary. Plus, maybe it puts the spotlight on the incompetent, election officials in those counties.

I've never heard of McBride and I don't live in Florida. He's not possibly worse than Reno, is he?It depends if you like big fat slobs better than big crazy dykes.

I think of it in terms of McBribe=McAWFUL & Reno = Just awful. Janet is a sorry old piece of socialist work, but McBribe is A terry Mcawful piece of work. We are having a hillary of a storm now, so SEEYA.

Tuesday was primary day for both Dems and Republicans. OK. So we're protesting not knowing whether Bush really won the primary by 80 percent or if it was only 78 percent?

"There must be something in the constitution that allows us to throw states out of the union Let castro have Flordia" I like Florida! It's only necessary to throw the DemonRATS out. They would then feel much more at home in Castro's "worker's paradise."

LOL! No, of course not. In my county, I got to vote for my choice for US Rep, Katherine Harris, over the Republican challenger. I'd have been pretty ticked off if I had gone to vote on Tuesday and found out that my polling place wasn't open or that the machines weren't working. But of course, I live in a fairly normal place where we know how to vote and the poll workers aren't corrupt.

"Tampa Dems - including the supervisor of elections - tried to imemdiately criticize JB for extending voting hours saying that it caused more problems than it fixed. These are Dems who are in the McBride camp and wanted a low turnout in So FL. Amazing that even when the problem is so obvious - even Reno hersalf faced issues - that some Dems are still putting their own political ambitions ahead of the common good."
Lets see here:
A Democrat Primary
A Democrat dominated voting county
A Democrat election commission, which is designed and paid for to make sure that no mistakes are made in an election in THEIR city.
Based on these facts, the voting failures which DID NOT happen Statewide, but only happened in two counties, is a Republican State Govenor's fault.
See the logic?

Who in their right mind would even consider passing their mouse over Reno?

That explains it then.....it's the "machine" that's a democrat! LOL! Well, consider for a moment, the political leaning of the programmer and you may see that that statement could be true in some circumstances.

I'm confused. Don't we hate Janet Reno? Why do we want her to win? Sorry but I've never heard of McBride and I don't live in Florida. He's not possibly worse than Reno, is he? Actually, I don't really think that the republicans care whether Reno or McBride wins. Jeb should be able to beat either one. The real push behind their challenging things is, I think, to expose the vote-manufacturing methodology of the democRAT party in a couple of jurisdictions where they show a proficiency of such antics.
What's telling is Reno's move to try to keep those counties out of the lime-light by asking for a statewide recount. The Republicans need to keep the focus on the questionable tactics in Palm Beach and Broward counties IMHO. There's fraud and it needs to be exposed before the general election.

"In other news, an unidentified man was reportedly electrocuted after attempting to stick an ice pick through a stack of vote-a-matic touch screens." ROTFL!! I could see that.
To: pulaskibush
Point well made. Did you see the comments that Jeb made when they asked him if this wasn't an embarassment to him? He said, "no, it's not an embarassment to me, but it should be to them and they really need to get THEIR problem worked out." LOL! That's a rough paraphrase but it was a great comeback.

Good thing they replaced that hopelessly unreliable, outdated punch card system. Yeah, this is much better.

Hehehe....you gotta admit that it's a pretty funny show when we don't have a horse in the race.

Michele Marshall, 34, was outraged to learn that her and her daughter Cepeatria's votes for Reno may not have counted. Good catch! Obviously, Michele had "Cepeatria" when she was 16 or younger. And "Cepeatria" sounds like (to put it bluntly) Ebonics for "Cleopatra". Kind of like "Anfernee Hardaway" who plays NBA.

Janet! Get out of Jeb's statehouse.
