Wow. A night at the Holiday Inn South. That's a whopping $79 dent in the campaign budget.

Are they including air fare? And does this count as a campaign contribution? And, if so, aren't there laws against candidates doing this sort of thing?
Just curious. I've never known Democrats to ever let the law get in the way of whatever they were trying to do...

I guess I'd also wonder about whether this might violate any ticket scalping laws...

Scalping tickets is legal in Texas. At most major concerts and sporting events where there is a limit on the number of tickets per person, ticket scalpers will hire dozens of vagrants (I mean homeless persons) to stand in line a couple of days before the ticket window opens.
