Grand slam!
To: relee
He listed over 16 resolutions that Iraq has violated. He put it right on the UN. He closed the speech stating that Liberty of the Iraqi people is a very important goal.

Brit Hume - "We have the urgent duty of protecting lives" quoting President Bush. Said he laid the gauntlet down to the UN. I'll say.

To: Texas_Jarhead; Momaw Nadon
Well, this was similar in tone to the speech of September 20, 2001.
It took 17 days for our second counterattack in the war to begin.

It was an excellent legal brief.
But was quite detailed.
IN Boston, the liberal radio says HOME RUN!

Bush has thrown down the gauntlet.
The UN already has committed itself . . . and can retain no legitimacy if it attempts to backtrack.
And, of course, the U.S. has a veto in the Security Council . . .
Time to start worrying about something besides bills in the mail again?
To: Mo1
Brit Hume: "The president has issued a stern challenge to the UN."
Kristol: "President did not ask for inspectors, he asked for regime change. He wants the UN on board for regime change.
