That's what I thought, too.

Koffi said members states have the right to defend themselves if attacked.........could that be a veiled threat directed at us........that Iraq has the right to defend it's self. Huh???

Based on what we learned Bush said last year (on the 60 Minutes thing last night), you just know he rants in private about how clueless these people are.
Speaker:
"Cooperation must be our modus operandi"

That would be the Art of Circumlocution...

That's how I interpreted what he said. The US doesn't have the right to attack, and Iraq has the right to defend.
Praying hard for President Bush right now!!

The link will popup just before the start of the speech - if the WH website is managed as it has in the past.

I thought so, thanks. No security council nation member can run for sec gen, right? That's how we always end up with these third world whackos.

Well, if that is the case, then it would definitely make a good point where the United States can begin to part ways with the UN. It's becoming obvious that the two entities are growing apart.

you just know he rants in private about how clueless these people are. OTOH, it's not all private. Remember that we owe the term "Clymer" to his "accidental" comment to Dick Cheney.
