I know..I'm just wondering after Bush's speech if this gave anyone an opinion of the immediacy of military action.
Personally, I'm thinking after the first of the year if at all (if something doesn't happen "internally" in Iraq first)

"Can you believe this.... Peter Jennings just said it was, a speech of great moral clarity, the kind we've come to expect from the president."PETER JENNINGS?? OH MAN, I am SOOOOO glad I SWALLOWED that mouthful of coffee before reading that!

I wrote Savage off when I heard him rant for 15 minutes about "Donald RumsFIELD". RumsFIELD lying to us, RumsFIELD hiding the circumstances surrounding that Afghani Wedding Party that was mistakenly bombed. He doesn't know who Drew Carey is. He doesn't do the background work, he regularly misstates fundamental facts and events. He is a blowhard, and he just exploits the uninformed distrust and fear of the world, its political leaders and our fast changing events.

PETER JENNINGS?? Yes. The reason is that the Dems are on board, as is usual in questions of war.

"Here come the planes...
They're American planes,
Made in America.
Smoking?
Or non-smoking..."LOL.....SuhMOKIN' !! (of course)

Naw, Scott Ritter is going to be on CNN tonight with warm & fuzzy Aaron Brown.
To: cake_crumb
FOFLOL. Thats been pretty much everyone's reaction. I took a quick look around for aliens myself. hehehe. I've decided it must have something to do with his contract renewal talks. ABC wants to shave some of his $8M salary. He was on Letterman a few nights ago, sayin some nice things about ABC, too. My guess is the talks ain't going well. LOL

"Scott Ritter is going to be on CNN tonight." Proves my point. If Ritter's 15 minutes of fame weren't over, he'd be on a network people watch.

Well, dang it, I missed the whole thing! And I love David Asman. I sure hope FNC will replay the thing in its entirety!
To: Yardstick
Amen to that, Yardstick! This wasn't just a great speech, it is right up there among the top handful of the most important speeches in American history. However, you mentioned the one note in the speech that made me uncomfortable. Those scheming to create a global government already are trying to ease their way toward giving the UN the ability to tax and to have its own armed forces.
I fully understand what the President did today and why. And I am in full agreement with him about Iraq. But one potential unintended consequence of the challenge he issued to the UN could be that it will give the global government types ammunition to move forward with their goals. I would not worry about this except for the fact that it is inevitable we will have another Left/Dem president some day, and most of them just salivate over the prospect of destroying our national sovereignty.

You can put money on it. It was truly amazing.

Shep Smith is going to talk about Scott Ritter shortly. Dog says he has Ritter's resignation letter in his hand.......hmmmm.

Which Dems Only Daschle seems to be holding out, and he is holding out for reason of asserting some authority. He is on board, too. There will be debate because that is what they do, and then they will vote. It won't be unanimous, there being those who wish their name to be special-mentioned, but nearly so.

Well, well......perhaps Mr. Ritter wasn't quite done today.
To: The Great Satan

Hate to say it, cake crumb, you've been had. This is not from Whitehouse.gov, it is from Whitehouse.org, a slander site against the President. The real White house site is
http://www.whitehouse.gov. Whitehouse.org is just sick drivel, and whitehouse.com is a porn site. Go figure.
To: M. Thatcher
Really? So when's Bush going to take him out? How long is it since Saddam flattened the WTC now? Saddam doesn't seem very frightened to me. Do you think he knows something we don't?

The link goes to whitehouse.ORG, not whitehouse.gov.
