One more picture:

I love that picture of him holding the bullhorn and standing with that retired fireman . I stumbled onto a piece on one of the networks yesterday that seemed to suggest that that fireman had died during this year. It showed an interview with him, then the anchor spoke of him in the PAST tense. Does anyone know about this?

The man was so sweet; he mentioned that after the President's speech that day, he showed up the next day to help with the recovery. The folks told him, no you can't help us; in effect, they told him he was too old. What he did instead was go to some agency that helps firemen and their families, I can't remember exactly what it was, but he was happy to be helping in some capacity.

He's real, not a phony baloney like the disgraced ex-president. His tears are from the heart. Clinton has none so his were just "crocodile" tears. God bless America. God Bless President Bush! These pictures are truly a blessing, Rintense. Thank you.

That is one I love as well. It is a private moment of tenderness, enjoyment of each other. Really, really precious.

Days of tears, remembering, praying for the families of those of all those who've died. And for the president and his team.

Thanks for wonderful photos, rintense.

I worked from 9AM until 8PM last night and I have very mixed emotions about it. Part of me just wanted to get up and watch everything all day and never get out of my pajamas. The other part of me thought it would be good to get to work and try not to think about the day. But -- due to the decision I made to work, I missed everything from the morning through Bush's speech framed by my beloved Lady Liberty. If anyone has taped the president's speeches today, I would gladly pay for a copy. I don't know if I made the right decision, but such as it is that is how it came down.

Anyway. Gretchen--I did see a few clips of the Pennsylvania ceremony-and that little boy came running up to W and put his arms around his legs like he was his father or something- it was a very sweet moment. And I loved how it didn't phase W a bit. I am sure in his day his daughters came running to him like that and he was not surpised at all by it. Again I was struck at the difference between Beezlebubba and W---can you imagine a kid running up and hugging Clinton like that??? Yuck.

I can't wait now tonight to get home and see what the news coverage has to say about W's speech at the UN- and I can't wait to find out what he said myself!

We love you W!! Thanks for being the wonderful president we all knew you could be and for being such strong leader in the face of people in this country that don't have our country's best interests at heart. (read: Dashole and the Dimwitted Dems) It's great to have an unwavering leader in these times that spends his mornings with God and knows what is best for our country and is going to do it!

Lawbirl, for an assortment of reasons, I did not get to see any of yesterday's events except for the President's speech at the Pentagon (which was, of course, brilliant and moving). I would also pay money for a taped recap of the days events. Could Cspan possibly be the source?

I did get to see the speech to the UN today. It was, in short, magnificent.

Then I learned that X42 was on Letterman last night being slobbered over by David Letterman.

Let me say here and now = that I will never ever watch another Letterman program, and I would like to boycott the sponsors of the program. Anybody who has help or a way to track down their sponsors from last night, let me know. That had to be the biggest outrage of the day.

But, now - back to the beauty, dignity, and honor that God has bestowed on our nation through President and Mrs. George W. Bush. What a joy! What a delight! What a fulfillment of God's purpose for both of them! How we must pray for them and for our country!

God bless everyone! God is real and He is good!

The second to last picture in post 33 shows the enormous level of compassion President Bush feels for each of the people who lost someone on September eleventh. No one can fake such an expression. God bless President Bush and God bless you rintense for bringing us these pictures every night.

He was not permited into his apartment for a while after Sept 11. He mentally preparing himself for a devasting view that he was going to encounter when he was premited to return to his apartment. What he wasn't prepared for was what the view was going to be. As he enter the apartment he looked across to where the WTC used to be and there was a perfect view of the Statue of Liberty.

I heard Warner Wolfe say the samae thing on Imus. I thought he was making it up.

Imus has always liked George W. Bush and has been saying many positive things lately. It is so good to hear someone on TV ask some tough questions of anti-Bush reporters.

FWI---did you let the Letterman people know about your decision? That is where it will make a difference.

Hey- after O'Reilly getting Ludacris pulled, anything can happen. I will let Letterman know I will not be watching anymore of his programs ever again as well. AND it worked with that Commie Bill Mahr too- we got him off the air. Networks DO listen, we just have to raise our voices loud enough.

FWI and lawgirl, DrDeb recorded Wednesday's events including the wonderful CBS interview with the President, and is going to sell copies of it to us.

I had the VCR taping Fox all day, so I got most of it, but would have to fast forward through lots of junk to get to the good parts, so I'm going to buy a couple of tapes (plus I didn't get all the neat stuff she's going to have on it).

lawgirl, you take care of yourself now! Don't work too hard!

How's the potential move to Milwaukee coming? Any progress yet?
