Zogby Slams Reports of Celebrating Arabs as "Urban Legends" (MAJOR BARF!)

Did anyone happen to see the segment of 'America Remembers' featuring James Zogby and John McCain between 2:30 and 3:00 p.m.? If so, I can imagine you are as FURIOUS as I am right at the moment! Brokaw was speaking with a gentleman who had lost in wife in the World Trade Center holocaust last September 11th. He was angry with the "silence = consent" attitude of the Muslim community toward the murder of over 3,000 Amercans at this time last year. He cited a poll indicating that "90% of Muslims blame America" for creating the international climate of tension that led to this act of terror. He further expressed his outrage over reports that Palestinians/Muslims/Arabs had been dancing in the streets and handing out candy in celebration of what Osama and his depraved minions had carried out in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania. In addition, he mentioned that he had friends who had witnessed this in Patterson, New Jersey; among other locations. Having seen the pictures myself, I flew into a rage when I heard James Zogby (representing the Arab-American Institute) debunk these stories as "urban legends". He told the studio audience that these reports were NOT TRUE! Mr. Zogby, you are a lying b*stard, and you know it. To imply that this recent widower is laboring under the delusion of an "urban legend" when those of us who have seen actual photos of these celebrations is an unspeakable outrage. Did anyone else see this? Unbelievable!

He's wrong. This is from the Detroit News issue of 9/11/2001. It's an AP stringer photo, and was clearly taken 9/11.

Rolnik admitted placing a telephone call to Dr. Zogby in Washington on the morning of September 12, 2001, and leaving a voice mail message in which he threatened to kill Dr. Zogby and his children because of Dr. Zogby's role in encouraging others to participate in the political process and the enjoyment of federal benefits without regard to race, color, religion or national origin.

The phone call was made in the heat of the moment. On September 12.
And can you translate the above for me?

Clapping the caller in prison for two months and fining him $5,000 is utter bulls**t. The caller is the real victim not Zogby. The caller also had to pay a lawyer thousands on this charge while scumbag Zogby had the Feds do his dirty work for him. Did not have to shell out for a lawyer.

How's that for the power of the Islamic lobby in America!

Here in Dearborn Michigan, they held a 9/11 memorial for Arab Americans who were upset over the terrorist acts last year. Only 50 people showed up. Dearborn (and the immediate area) has well over 300,000 arabs living there.

Oh yes, they said that more would have come, but they were afraid to venture out of doors. Afraid to go outside, why is that? It is not as though there have been any actual attacks on Muslims in Dearborn, other than the "threat" discovered on 9/12/2001 by a kid who found a burnt out sparkler on the sidewalk half a block down the street from a mosque.

I know what they are afraid of. It must be me. They might get "Jew cooties" from breathing the same molecules that were once in my lungs. Yeah, that's the ticket. It's Alouette from Free Republic, jewing up Dearborn.

And what of those Palestinians who actually DID mourn the attacks? People whose ancestors have lived in the Holy Land since Jesus walked the earth? Mourned them not only for their animal cruelty, but because they knew that it would result in a weakening of the Palestinian position in the USA---feeble as that already was. Mourned it for a variety of reasons--some humane, some selfish (like all humans).

The psychotics, the cruel, the merely stupid are ALWAYS "real"...."authentic".

While the thoughtful, the rational are "staged".

I do remember seeing the news footage of Palestinians celebrating the attack days after the attack. It only aired for one or two days and only on a few sources (I think I saw it on FOX). Then Arafat threatened the safety of reporters in the West Bank for showing this and they footage suddenly disapeared from TV.

I forget which news channel aired it last night, but on it they talked about reports of cheering arabs, et al, being urban myths (they were refering to rumors about Dunkin' Donuts, etc). They focused on reports of this happening in the U.S. but made it sound as if all such reports were hoaxes - inside or outside the the U.S.

Apparantly, the Palestinian authority has issued orders today that they will arrest any reporters or journalists that try to report on Palis who plan on celebrating this anniverssary the way they did a year ago.

What pissed me off even more was a woman who was talking about her daughter that died in the WTC, then suddenly she turned her grief into a political statement. She said,(paraphrasing) That she doesn't want us to attack Iraq. She said outright that Dubya was only targeting 'Sodom' because Bush Sr was called a wuss. Then had the nerve to say "I'm a Democrat, a liberal and it's becoming illegal to be liberal in America."
What the fizzuck does that have to do with her daughter being murdered by terrorists? Are liberals so braindead that their grief takes a backseat to their politics? I'm sorry if this sounds cold but..DAMN.
I couldn't believe my ears.I was totally dumbfounded by her stupidity.
