From a speech by Solicitor General Theodore Olson to the Federalist Society on Nov. 16, 2001. Mr. Olson's wife, Barbara, was one of the airplane passengers murdered on Sept. 11, 2001.
September 11, 2001 was unprecedented in our nation's history. Our country has been attacked before. Our soldiers and innocent citizens have been the victims of terrorism before. But never before in our history have so many civilian citizens, engaged in the routines of their daily lives, who neither individually nor collectively had done anything to provoke the savage attack that they were to experience that day, been brutally murdered for the simple reason that they were Americans, and because they stood, in their countless individual lives, for all the things that America symbolizes.

While there are those that hate us for our foreign policy, these people do not hate us for our foreign policy - they hate us because we are powerful and able and not muslim. The springboard of Bin Ladin against because we attacked Iraq, or opposed Iraq in Kuwait, but rather because we, as non-muslims, set foot in Saudi Arabia - and because the muslim states were powerless to deal with the problem themselves. In short, we are hated by these groups more because we exist than for anything we have done, or even might do.

But all I've heard about are a few tapes , tapes that would not be admissable in our courts.
If what You say is true then we have some people living here that need to be sent elsewhere.
Believe me I'm not afraid to fight , I just want to know who the real enemy is and why.
That is of course provided we have the time to know.
If we lose the war on terror, we will have no freedoms.
God bless America and God bless our military.
He's one pissed off pee on.
And if Bin Laden from Arabia is the new terror of the world , why are we going to kill a bunch of starving Iraqi's.
We ( not me )armed and trained saddam and remained his allies while he gassed his own people.
That makes "US" as dirty as him.
But hell let's kill somebody , to make ourselves feel right.
But American's are accepting less and less in our country with the excuse that other countries are worse off.
I respect our Veteran's more than that , and won't accept less than they fought for.
We are on the same side , I just see a different enemy.
Please read " Hope of the Wicked " by Ted Flynn.
I've read a lot more books , but this one puts the most information , with the most detail all together.
We do have a fight in front of us , but it's for a lot more than control over a dictator we armed and trained.......
Peace is worth the Price
Sheez. We've got enough enemies in our own midst, let alone the cave dwelling bastards who killed our own.
He's one pissed off pee on.
He's a multi-billionaire who has spent a decade putting together a multi-national coalition of terrorists, with a great deal of funding by groups that want him to play in someone elses back-yard. He has been greatly aided by sects like the Wahabbi, who are resentful that the culture and religion of Islam is not the dominant one in the world. As an aside, study the behaviour and motivations for the Barbary states in the late 1700s and early 1800s.
And if Bin Laden from Arabia is the new terror of the world , why are we going to kill a bunch of starving Iraqi's.
Because their leader supports him as an aside to being thwarted by us.
As for starving, the only reason they do so is because of Sadaam's despotism. Iraq is relatively unique in the Arab world in that it is a self-sufficient country. You do recall the bread-basket of the Tigris and Euphrates river plains run through it, yes?
Note also that it has an industry capable of producing vehicles. It's not like most of its neighbors as far as native resources.
We ( not me )armed and trained saddam and remained his allies while he gassed his own people.
Wanna try that again? We gave him "some" intelligence support in a war against Iran, where we didn't like either side, and didn't want either side to win - but that has nothing to do with the main hatred Al Queda has and had for us. We certainly didn't arm him, and did very little in the way of training). If you want to talk about arming him, talk about the USSR and France (With some help on the chem warfare side from some German companies who were closed afterwards).
That makes "US" as dirty as him.
Well, given the gross oversimplification of the previous statement, this one follows it out the window.
But hell let's kill somebody , to make ourselves feel right.
He is dangerous. Even if one accepts that we had something to do with making him that way, that is a silly argument for not dealing with him. If we do it well - the more force, and the fastest - relatively few will die.
Larry Wayne Harris a registered microbiologist wrote a book about chemical warfare. It had a full page ad in the Washington Times.
Larry Wayne Harris was arrested by the FBI saying that he had "anthrax virus". He was released because what he had was "anthrax vaccine".
In his book , besides telling of the Iraqi cells that are already over here , he says that he helped train the Iraqi's in chemical warfare.
He says he found out about the Iraqi cells ( he calls them Pods ) when the first bombs went off in the World Trade Center. He says that an Iraqi woman he befriended during his training , broke down when the attack was announced.
He says that the woman believed that the planned attack on America had begun and couldn't be stopped , so she believed she could hurt nothing by telling him.
As far as the Iraqi people , I still remember the news telling about how the Iraqi " soldiers " ran over surrendering , scared and hungry.
I'm not arguing that saddam is a bad man. I'm not sure how much of a threat he really is , or what kind of ties there are between him and bin Laden.
I know that Roosevelt signed the Trading with the Enemy Act so that American elites could do business with Hitler and not be legally called " Traitors ".
I don't care how our corrupt government colors it , they are traitors and still put profit before our lives.
I've said the same things here for three years and have only expanded on it as I learned more.
Of all the books I have read looking for the Truth as to why my country is failing so bad , "Hope of the Wicked " is the most detailed. I'm not gifted with a great recall , I understand what I have read and do the best I can to share it.
I don't believe we have even five years left before America changes forever. The best suggestion I can make , is to read the book for yourself. I've read over a dozen dealing with the New World Order and their agenda , this one book will bring everyone up to date.
The New World Order does exist and it is a conspiracy.
On Fedruary 1 , 1992 President Goerge Herbert Walker Bush stated : "My vision of a New World Order forsees a UN with a revitalized peacekeeping function. It is the sacred priciples enshrined in the UN charter to which we henceforth pledge our allegiance."
It comes right out of their mouths and still people refuse to see it. That's why they call us sheep.
Hitler said "Tell the people a lie long enough and they will believe it."
The UN is one of those lies.........
