Timmy died pre-09/11. Would he have eventually confirmed details discovered elsewhere? Whould have have had a change of heart and talked? We'll never know. But if it might save one future life, I sure wish we had that option.I really don't think he would have talked. And it was actually rather breath-taking to watch the folks who usually say "Hang the worthless SOB immediately if not sooner" suddenly sound like liberals: "We must try to understand his rage, and what made him do this terrible deed, and see if he will shed light on his co-conspirators."

Where I see separation from my normal feelings on the death penalty in such cases, I actually trust the government very little on this case. Too much is known that directly contradicts the government's story. Therefore I was inclined to modify my feelings on destroying what I considered to another source of future information. Had there been no discrepency in the government's story and the facts, I'd have been for frying McVeigh ASAP.

I never saw anyone post the crap you're claiming there. The people here who were opposed to the rush to execution were saying that execution should be delayed pending a search for his associates.
This is going to make you look like a fool though, after your years of defending Clinton and his DoJ with your ridiculous apologia for every retarded sounding explanation the feds came up with for a feeble ANFO bomb bringing down a "bombproof" building.
